About this skill

AWS Icons ZIP → draw.io Library

The conversion is performed entirely by the scripts/build_aws_drawio_libraries.py bundled with this skill (standard library only, Python 3.9 or later). The following<SKILL_DIR>refers to the directory containing this SKILL.md.

Procedure

  1. Check the input. Verify that the given ZIP exists and is.zip. If either condition is not met, stop there and confirm with the user. If the project hasicons/, place the ZIP under that name as-isicons/Copy it to.

  2. Determine the output destination. In this repository,build/drawio_libs/. For other projects, match an existing output destination if there is one; otherwise usedrawio_libs/.

  3. Build. When running in this repository, use the Taskfile command.

    task drawio:build ICON_PACKAGE=icons/Icon-package.zip

    In other repositories, use the following command. In environments where the standardpython3does not start, run withmise exec -- python3Oruv run --no-project --python 3.11.

python3 <SKILL_DIR>/scripts/build_aws_drawio_libraries.py <ZIPのパス> --output-dir drawio_libs

Normally it finishes within 1 second. If it does not respond for 10 seconds or more, stop the process and retry via mise or uv as described above. Depending on the environment, Nix'sxcrunThe shimpython3may keep being invoked recursively. For each library,<ライブラリ名>: <数> SVG iconsis output.

  1. Check the results. AWS-*-<YYYY-MM-DD>.xmlis generated four times, and<出力先>/current/fixed-name files should also be updated (the date is determined from the path inside the ZIP). If the date becomesundatedor the number generated is too small, the ZIP structure may differ from what is expected, so inform the user.

  2. Cleanup. If XML from another date remains in the same output destination, confirm with the user whether it may be deleted. Do not delete it on your own. This is because the user may be using the old version in parallel. If the README has a list of libraries (SVG counts or file names), update it to match the new version.

Completion report

Briefly report the SVG count for each library, the paths of the generated files, and how the old version was handled. Register the VS Codehediet.vscode-drawioNow, the repository's.vscode/settings.jsonがbuild/drawio_libs/current/. In the shapes panel, Other Shapes → Custom Libraries , select the library to use, and Apply . The usual File → Import or dragging XML onto the canvas inserts it into the drawing, not loads it as a library. In standalone draw.io, use File → Open Library from → Device .
