About this skill

Paper Material Search and Reference Organization

Core Functions

When users provide paper materials, abstracts, data, quotations, or any academic content, automatically perform the following tasks:

  1. Source Tracing: Analyze the content of the material and identify which literature it may come from
  2. Literature Search: Find detailed information about the corresponding literature through web searches
  3. Link Retrieval: Obtain accessible links to the literature (journal official websites, databases, preprints, etc.)
  4. Format Organization: Output all literature in standard reference formats

Supported Fields

  • Law: regulations, case law, legal theory
  • Computer Science: algorithms, machine learning, system architecture, software engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering: mechanical design, manufacturing processes, mechanics of materials
  • Electrical Engineering: circuits, power systems, electronic devices, signal processing
  • Other: can be expanded according to the field provided by the user

Supported Literature Types

Type Description
Journal Article Articles published in academic journals
Conference Paper Papers published at academic conferences
Thesis/Dissertation Master's/doctoral dissertations
Preprint Preprints on platforms such as arXiv and bioRxiv
Book Academic works, textbooks
Technical Report Technical documents published by institutions
Patent Patent literature
Standard Industry standards, national standards

Quality Labels

  • 🔗 indicates direct access
  • 📧 indicates institutional access permission is required
  • ⚠️ indicates the link may be invalid

Search Strategy

Chinese Literature Search

  • CNKI (cnki.net)
  • Wanfang (wanfangdata.com.cn)
  • VIP (cqvip.com)
  • Baidu Scholar (xueshu.baidu.com)

English Literature Search

  • Google Scholar (scholar.google.com)
  • PubMed (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) - Biomedicine
  • IEEE Xplore (ieeexplore.ieee.org) - Electrical/Computer Science
  • ACM Digital Library (dl.acm.org) - Computer Science
  • ScienceDirect (sciencedirect.com) - General
  • Springer (link.springer.com) - General
  • arXiv (arxiv.org) - Preprints
  • Semantic Scholar (semanticscholar.org)

Professional Databases

  • Mechanical/Manufacturing: ASME, SAE, IMeche
  • Electrical/Electronics: IEEE, IET, Electronics Letters
  • Law: Westlaw, LexisNexis, PKULaw, CNKI

Processing Workflow

  1. Receive Materials

    • Receive any form of paper materials provided by the user
    • Identify the material type (text excerpts, data, chart descriptions, citations, etc.)
  2. Content Analysis

    • Extract identifying information such as key terms, author names, and journal names
    • Determine the subject area
  3. Literature Search

    • Use appropriate Chinese and English search channels
    • Prioritize exact matches, followed by fuzzy matches
  4. Source Confirmation

    • Verify the consistency between the literature content and the user's materials
    • Annotate possible multiple sources
  5. Format Output

    • Organize references in a standard format
    • Attach all available links
    • Add explanations corresponding to the materials

Notes

  • For materials whose corresponding literature cannot be found, clearly mark "Source could not be determined"
  • For Open Access literature, provide it first
  • For paywalled literature, provide links to official purchase/access channels
  • Respect intellectual property rights; provide only literature leads, do not distribute full texts
  • If the same content has multiple possible sources, list all possibilities and explain the reasons
