About this skill

Context Discovery — Phase -1: Context Sufficiency Evaluation

Overview

From the user's input, evaluate the 8 context elements required for presentation creation, and fill in missing elements through one-question-one-answer . This greatly improves the output accuracy of subsequent phases.

This skill must be executed before Phase 1 (Presentation Architect).

The 8 Context Elements

# Element Symbol Criteria
1 Theme / Topic TOPIC The topic can be identified
2 Audience / Target AUDIENCE Who the presentation is aimed at can be identified
3 Purpose / Behavior Change PURPOSE What you want the audience to do is clear
4 Time Allotted / Scale DURATION Presentation time or number of slides can be estimated
5 Language LANGUAGE Japanese / English / bilingual can be identified
6 Materials / Data Sources MATERIALS Presence of existing papers, data, repositories, or materials
7 Brand / Style BRAND Design guidelines or brand can be identified
8 Output Format / Deliverable OUTPUT PowerPoint / Executive Summary / Pitch, etc.

Procedure

Step 1: Context Sufficiency Scan

Analyze the user's input text and determine the sufficiency of each of the 8 elements.

Judgment Rules

Sufficiency Score Calculation

CLEAR = 1.0 点
INFER = 0.5 点
MISSING = 0 点

Step 2: Progress Determination

Step 3: One-Question-One-Answer Process

Question Priority

Ask about missing elements in the following order (the higher up, the greater the impact on subsequent phases):

Question Templates

Questions for each element are presented with options . Put the recommended default first.

Step 4: Context Summary Output

After completing the one-question-one-answer process (or immediately if the sufficiency score ≥ 0.75), output the following summary and confirm it with the user.

Output template: context-summary.md

{充足したコンテキストから、どの Phase をスキップするか提案}

- Phase 0 (Research): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}
- Phase 1 (Architect): 必須
- Phase 2 (Executive Summary): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}
- Phase 3 (Data Storytelling): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}
- Phase 4 (Scientific Viz): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}
- Phase 5 (Infographic): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}
- Phase 6 (Brand Style): 必須
- Phase 7 (PPTX Builder): 必須
- Phase 8 (Speaker Coach): {実行 / スキップ} — {理由}

→ Phase 1: Presentation Architect

Judgment Examples

Example 1: Sufficient Input

User input:

"I want to create a PPTX presenting the AI for Science promotion strategy for MEXT in 30 minutes. Focusing on the Microsoft Discovery case study, in Japanese."

Judgment:

Element Status Inferred content
TOPIC ✅ AI for Science Promotion Strategy
AUDIENCE ✅ MEXT (policymaker)
PURPOSE 🟡 Approval for policy promotion? → Confirmation recommended
DURATION ✅ 30 minutes
LANGUAGE ✅ Japanese
MATERIALS 🟡 Microsoft Discovery case study → Can be collected via GitHub MCP
BRAND 🟡 For MEXT → Microsoft style inferred
OUTPUT ✅ PPTX

Sufficiency score: 5.5/8 (69%) → MISSING 0, INFER 3 → Confirm inferences and proceed to Phase 1

Example 2: Input with insufficient information

User input:

"Make a presentation"

Assessment:

Element Status
TOPIC ❌
AUDIENCE ❌
PURPOSE ❌
DURATION ❌
LANGUAGE ❌
MATERIALS ❌
BRAND ❌
OUTPUT 🟡 PPTX (inferred)

Sufficiency score: 0.5/8 (6%) → Start one-question-at-a-time in priority order (up to 6 rounds)

Default values

If the question limit (maximum number of rounds) is exceeded, apply defaults to the remaining elements:

Element Default
DURATION 15 minutes (standard presentation)
LANGUAGE Japanese
BRAND Microsoft official style
OUTPUT PowerPoint (.pptx)
MATERIALS None (run research in Phase 0)

Do not apply defaults to TOPIC / AUDIENCE / PURPOSE. If these are unknown, always ask questions.

Gotchas

  1. Even if told "leave it to you," TOPIC / AUDIENCE / PURPOSE cannot be omitted — If these three are unclear, the quality of all phases degrades. Respond to "leave it to you" with "What is the theme?"
  2. Do not be overconfident in INFER judgments — Elements inferred from context should be reconfirmed when creating requirements.md in Phase 1. If an inference is wrong, it affects all subsequent phases
  3. Beware of question fatigue — Asking all 8 questions consecutively causes users to drop off. Strictly adhere to the maximum number of rounds and fill in the rest with defaults
  4. Context of existing materials — If the user points to an existing file saying "update this material," automatically extract the 8 elements from the file and ask only about what is missing

Verification loop

  1. Generate context-summary.md
  2. Confirm the following:
    • Whether all 8 elements have a status (✅/🟡/❌) assigned
    • Whether TOPIC / AUDIENCE / PURPOSE are all ✅
    • Whether the inferred phase structure is consistent with the context
  3. If any of TOPIC / AUDIENCE / PURPOSE is ❌ → Continue asking questions
  4. If all are ✅ → After confirming with the user, proceed to Phase 1
