Use the Mobbin MCP tools to ground design decisions in real product examples. Treat the returned screens as research inputs, not templates to copy blindly.
Workflow
- Translate the request into a concrete pattern, platform, industry, and user state. Preserve the user's constraints and style guide.
- Search broadly enough to compare several relevant shipped products. Refine the query when results mix unrelated flows.
- Inspect the strongest examples and identify repeated patterns, meaningful differences, and likely tradeoffs.
- Synthesize the evidence into recommendations for the user's product. Explain why a pattern fits the current context instead of merely listing screenshots.
- Attribute examples to the product and platform shown by Mobbin, and distinguish observed details from your inference.
Guardrails
- Prefer recent and contextually similar examples, but include a contrasting approach when it clarifies the decision.
- Do not imply that popularity proves usability or that a visual pattern is universally correct.
- Do not reproduce a product's branded screen verbatim. Adapt structure and interaction principles to the user's own system.
- If Mobbin is unavailable or requires authorization, report that directly and state what research could not be completed.
