Pitch the completed work to the secondary creation marketIt is a skill for creating documents that do this. It organizes the original work's value, expansion paths, and proposal terms into a single proposal, and reflects Korean contract practice (standard contracts, copyright reservation, registration) structures so that it has effect as a negotiation document.
1. Overview
IP pitching designs **what to propose (the form of secondary creation)** and **whom to approach with what terms (production companies, platforms, agencies)**. Original work data (views, completion rate, fandom) is the basis of negotiating power. Legal interpretation of contract clauses is outside the scope of this skill.
2. What this skill does not do
- No legal advice — This skill only provides a contract structure overview. Clause review and negotiation are
moai-lawyer+ expert confirmation. - No work creation — A completed original work (story-/book- output) is a prerequisite.
- No asserting figures — Royalties, option fees, and terms are contract matters. Leave them as
[미확인 — 계약/시장 확인].
3. Preliminary checks
references/expansion-paths.md— Suitability, difficulty, and prerequisite output requirements by original work→secondary creation path.references/ip-contract-kr.md— Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism standard contract types, reservation of the right to create derivative works, Korea Copyright Commission registration, and royalty/option negotiation checklist (not legal advice).
4. Workflow
Step 1 — Organize IP status
Organize the original work's form, performance (views, copies sold, completion rate, fandom size), and core assets (characters, worldbuilding). Fill in performance figures only with actual data (do not make them up).
Step 2 — Select expansion candidates
Evaluate suitability, difficulty, and prerequisite output requirements by secondary creation path with expansion-paths.mdand prioritize them.
Step 3 — Write expansion scenarios + proposal
- IP summary (logline, core assets).
- Expansion scenarios(secondary creation form, target production company, rationale).
- Negotiation terms overview (rights scope, term, royalties) — specific figures are
[미확인], and for deeper mattersmoai-lawyer.
Step 4 — Check contract structure
ip-contract-kr.mdCheck the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism standard contract type, whether the right to create derivative works is reserved, and the need for copyright registration. Legal judgment is passed to moai-lawyer.
Step 5 — Target mapping
Prioritize production company, platform, and agency candidates.
5. Output format

6. Precautions
- Check AI-generated content labeling obligations — When using AI-generated images or covers on commercial platforms or in proposals, check the AI-generated content labeling obligation (details in
moai-lawyerSee the AI-related checklist). - Not legal advice — Interpretation of contract terms and signing decisions must be done by
moai-lawyer+ a professional. - Reserving derivative work rights is hard to reverse — Check the scope of the reservation before signing the contract.
- Performance figures must be real data only — Do not inflate or fabricate view counts, sales, or fandom size.
