1. Overview
For a cover, **what to show (main character·mood·key props)** and **how to draw the eye (composition·contrast·title placement)** determine click-through and purchase rates. Specs and readability priorities differ by use — for print books, print resolution·binding margins; for thumbnails, mobile downscaled readability is the top priority.

- Does not do image generation·credit notice·model selection —
moai-media:media-higgsfield-coredelegated to the contract (§4-Generation Execution). - Does not judge font licenses — judgment of free commercial Korean fonts is owned by
moai-designer. Reference only. - Does not assert spec figures — thumbnail·cover ratios·minimum sizes are
story-webtoon-spechub reference. - Does not do typographic typesetting — only secures title placement; actual font·typesetting is at the editing·design stage (
moai-designer).

4. Workflow
Step 1 — Use branch determination
Print book cover / webtoon thumbnail·title card / web novel cover First decide which of these it is. Specs·readability priorities diverge.

Step 2 — Concept finalization
Decide the theme·mood·target readers·key characters/props. If character consistency is needed, story-character-sheetreflect the references·anchors in the prompt.
Step 3 — Composition·gaze guidance design
cover-composition.mdDesign the composition (rule of thirds·center·diagonal)·gaze guidance·contrast. Leave space for the title·author name in advance(Step 5).
Step 4-Generation Execution — delegate to moai-media
The actual generation, upscaling, cost preflight, and model selection of the cover prompt are moai-media:media-higgsfield-core delegated to the contract (models_explore live lookup + get_cost advance notice).
If moai-media is not installed: output the completed cover prompt as text and guide the user to generate it directly on the Higgsfield web (https://higgsfield.ai)에서 ).
Step 5 — Handoff of Title Placeholder Guide
Leave the placeholders for the title and author name as a separate note (font and typesetting are in the editing stage). When selecting a font, hand off to check whether it is free for commercial use at moai-designer:design-system-library.

6. Precautions
- Check the obligation to label AI-generated content — When submitting or posting AI-generated images or covers to commercial platforms, check the obligation to label AI-generated content (for details, see the AI-related checklist in
moai-lawyer). - Notify and obtain approval for costs before generation.
moai-media의get_costNotify the user of the results and generate after obtaining approval. - Top priority differs by use — Thumbnails prioritize readability when scaled down on mobile; standalone books prioritize print resolution and margins.
- Secure the title area in advance — Ensure that people and props do not encroach on the title area.
- Content guard when referencing styles — Reference only the style and do not copy the subject; reuse the guard wording from
story-webtoon-art/references/style-anchor.md. - Do not fabricate specifications or font figures — Specifications come from the spec hub, and font licenses come from designer.
