$ARGUMENTS: GitHub skill folder URL and options

Install a Claude Code skill from a GitHub URL.

Proceed in the following order:

1. $ARGUMENTSParse it to separate the GitHub URL and options
2. Check the script path: in this skill's script folder, use install-skill.jsuse
3. Run the following command:

node <이 스킬의 script/install-skill.js 경로> $ARGUMENTS

Input format

• URL format: https://github.com/{owner}/{repo}/tree/{branch}/{path}
• Options:
  • --global : ~/.claude/skills/install globally (by default, in the current project's .claude/skills/)
  • --name <이름> : directly specify the skill folder name
  • --dry-run : check only the file list without actually installing

Usage examples

/install-skill https://github.com/Mineru98/skills-store/tree/main/.claude/skills/commands-creator
/install-skill https://github.com/Mineru98/skills-store/tree/main/.claude/skills/mcp-builder --global
/install-skill https://github.com/user/repo/tree/main/my-skill --name custom-name
/install-skill https://github.com/user/repo/tree/main/my-skill --dry-run

Notes

• For private repositories, GITHUB_TOKEN or GH_TOKEN environment variable settings are required
• If you hit the GitHub API rate limit (60 requests per hour), set a token
• Already installed skills are overwritten (updated)
