Preflight
meitu --version≥ 2.0.6;meitu auth verify --json- Confirm Config Phase has been run;
MEITU_OPENAPI_TOOL_TASK_MODE=command - output_dir resolution: openclaw.yaml →
./output/| else →$VISUAL/output/video-resolution-upscale/;mkdir -p {output_dir}
Execute
Trigger signals/routing (two-layer determination)
- First layer (enter the flow): contains any signal of "resolution / super-resolution / upscale / upscale clarity / 720P / 1080P / 2K / 4K"
- Second layer (direct call vs follow-up question): target value already specified → direct call; not specified ("resolution too low"/"upscale a bit") → follow-up question
Decision order:
- Contains resolution-related request? No → this tool does not handle it (outside capability scope, guide to
video-quality-enhance) - Target resolution clarity: no specific value → prompt "Please specify the target resolution: 720P / 1080P / 2K / 4K"
video_urlmissing → follow-up question- Target resolution must be higher than the original video
- Unique route →
video_superres_enhance
Example:
- "Upscale the video to 4K" →
target_resolution=4K - "Restore a blurry old video to 4K" →
target_resolution=4K(contains resolution request, handled by this tool) - "Help me restore this video" → this tool does not handle it (no resolution request)

Tool invocation
meitu video-resolution-upscale \

Error fallback
| Scenario | Handling |
|---|---|
video_url missing |
Prompt "Please provide the video link" |
video_url inaccessible |
Do not retry, prompt "Please provide a valid video link" |
target_resolution missing but has resolution request |
Prompt "Please specify the target resolution: 720P/1080P/2K/4K" |
target_resolution missing and no resolution request at all |
This tool does not handle it, return outside capability scope |
| Target resolution ≤ original video | Do not call, prompt "Target resolution must be higher than the original video" |
target_resolution invalid value |
Prompt "Only 720P/1080P/2K/4K are supported" |
| Call failed | Retry once, if still failing return an error |
| Timeout | Retry once at a lower target resolution; if it still times out, return an error |
| Content compliance interception | Return the compliance prompt directly without retrying |
| Input is an image | Reject; this tool only processes videos |
Deliver
Parse --json → downloaded_files[0].saved_path or media_urls[0]. Ultra-high resolution (4K) takes longer to process.
