Video Lowlight Enhance

Overview

Call meitu video-lowlight-enhance to perform video shadow detail recovery, low-light environment brightening, and highlight-shadow balance adjustment. Only applicable to videos shot in dark/low-light environments; calling it on normally lit videos may cause overexposure.

Does not handle: comprehensive quality repair, super-resolution, video denoising, image shadow enhancement, video color grading/color optimization.

Core Workflow

Preflight → Execute → Deliver

Preflight

1. meitu --version ≥ 2.0.6; if not installed, go through npm install -g meitu-cli@latest
2. meitu auth verify --json → if credentials are invalid, guide configuration
3. Confirm that the Config Phase has been run (meitu tools update）；MEITU_OPENAPI_TOOL_TASK_MODE=command
4. output_dir resolution: openclaw.yaml → ./output/ | else → $VISUAL/output/video-lowlight-enhance/；mkdir -p {output_dir}

Execute

Trigger signals/routing

Matched signal words: "video is too dark, night scene, brighten, shadows, dark light, low light, shot too dark at night, pitch black, insufficient light".

Single API tool; call once parameters are complete video_lowlight_enhance. No cross-tool fallback.

Example:

• "This video is too dark, can't see clearly" → call directly
• "The video shot at night is too dark" → call directly
• "Make the video a bit brighter" → lightly confirm "night scene shadow brightening or normal quality repair?"

• ok: true → downloaded_files[0].saved_path is the locally downloaded result; or take media_urls[0]
• ok: false → check code and hint
