Jianying Editing Assistant

When directly operating the Jianying UI, use Computer Use. Before clicking, dragging, or typing, first get the com.lemon.lvpro app state.

Core Workflow

  1. First confirm the asset path and file information.
    • Check whether the file exists and whether the size is normal.
    • When you need to confirm duration, resolution, or frame rate, use ffprobe。
  2. Open Jianying, create a new project or continue the current project.
  3. Import assets.
    • Prefer using Jianying's import button.
    • If the macOS file picker makes it difficult to enter Chinese paths or Chinese file names, copy an English-named working copy in the project workspace, then import the working copy.
    • Unless the user explicitly requests it, do not modify the original assets.
  4. Place assets into the timeline.
    • Prefer clicking the "Add to Track" area near the lower-right corner/corner of the media thumbnail.
    • If clicking the main body of the thumbnail only previews it, do not repeatedly force-drag the main body.
    • If playback is triggered by mistake, pause first, then click the thumbnail corner/overlay button.
    • After success, confirm that a clip appears in the main timeline and that the right panel switches to the video parameter control area.
  5. Before editing or fine-tuning within Jianying, try to first confirm whether what the user wants to process is the original footage, a roughly cut MP4, or the current timeline asset.
  6. If the user wants to "automatically rough-cut a talking-head video" or "delete repetitions/pauses/sentence breaks based on transcription," do not handle it within this skill; use the Volcano ASR/automatic editing skill to generate an approved rough-cut MP4, then return to Jianying to import and fine-tune.
  7. Within Jianying, the main responsibilities are:
    • Import original footage or a roughly cut MP4.
    • Place it into the main timeline.
    • Adjust the image, crop, scale, position, and cover frame.
    • Add or correct subtitles, titles, stickers, sound effects, and music.
    • Perform user-specified manual cuts, fine-tuning, and export.
  8. When the user requests recording while working, update the project log each time a key action is completed.

Jianying UI Experience

  • App bundle id:com.lemon.lvpro。
  • The media area displays imported video thumbnails and durations.
  • Clicking the main body of a thumbnail may only preview the asset.
  • The timeline is in the lower half of the window. After an asset is successfully added, a clip bar with a thumbnail appears.
  • When 画面 / 音频 / 变速 / 动画 / 调整 / AI效果 appears on the right, it usually means the timeline video clip has been selected.

Boundary with Automatic Rough Cutting

This skill only records operations within Jianying. Steps that do not happen inside Jianying, such as Volcano ASR transcription, generating delete_segments.jsonbased on timestamps, file-level automatic rough cutting, and three-layer ASR review, do not belong to this skill.

If the user provides an MP4 that has already passed automatic rough-cut review, the responsibilities of this skill are:

  1. Import the rough-cut MP4 into Jianying.
  2. Place it into the timeline.
  3. Perform visual and auditory fine-tuning.
  4. Import or correct subtitles.
  5. Export as requested by the user.

Log Format

When recording a project, append concise entries at the end of the log:

## YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM

- Action: 导入素材 / 加入时间线 / 剪映内精修 / 字幕 / 导出。
- Details: 文件名、时间码、时长、界面结果。
- Decision: 为什么这样处理。
- Next: 下一步做什么。

Logs should be practical, with the focus on making it easy to restore the project and review editing decisions, not on writing a running account.
