Connect NotebookLM (Claude Code version)

Steps

1. Install

uv tool install notebooklm-mcp-cli
# 或 pip install notebooklm-mcp-cli
nlm --version

2. Log in

nlm login

(The browser will open the Google login page)

Verify:

nlm doctor

3. Register MCP

nlm setup add claude-code

(automatically writes to ~/.claude.json; for project level, it is .mcp.json）

4. Verify

After restarting Claude Code, ask: "Please list all my NotebookLM notebooks."

Report format: nlm version, login status (nlm doctor), MCP settings, notebook read test results.

If it fails

• Manually edit ~/.claude.json(or the project's .mcp.json) mcpServers section
• Remove:nlm setup remove claude-code；uv tool uninstall notebooklm-mcp-cli；nlm logout
• Start over from step 1
