Steps
1. Find the vault
First confirm the physical path of the Obsidian vault. Common locations:
C:\Users\<你>\OneDrive\文件\SecondbrainC:\Users\<你>\Documents\<vault 名稱><你的 vault 路徑>(cloud drive sync folders, etc.)
2. Let AntiGravity read/write the vault directly (no MCP needed)
AntiGravity 2 can read and write files directly, and an Obsidian vault is just a regular Markdown folder, so there is no need to install any MCP server. How to do it:
- Write the vault path into the project's
AGENTS.md"Obsidian corresponding notes" field (do not commit local paths to a public repo). - When there are multiple candidate vaults, ask the user first and do not guess the path; by default, only read the entry point and related notes, and do not broadly scan private content.
3. Create a project cockpit
Create inside the vault <專案名稱>/專案工作流程.md(or the filename specified by the user), recording: current progress, next steps, decisions, and pitfalls. Confirm the path and fields before creating it.
4. Verify
First read the vault root directory, then create a test note and read it back to confirm, and finally delete the test note.
Old AntiGravity 1 approach: it used
npm.cmd install -g @bitbonsai/mcpvaultto install and register Obsidian MCP. AntiGravity 2 does not need this, and this package no longer installs MCPVault.
⚠️ Security reminder: do not commit your physical vault path or any sensitive note content to a public repository.
