Word Document Processing

Use python-docx to create and edit Word documents (.docx).

Use Cases

• The user says "help me generate a Word report" or "write this content into Word"
• The user needs to create formatted documents (headings, tables, lists)
• The user needs to modify an existing Word file

Dependency Installation

pip install python-docx

Create Document

from docx import Document
from docx.shared import Inches, Pt, Cm
from docx.enum.text import WD_ALIGN_PARAGRAPH

Read Document

Modify Document

Output Specifications

• By default, save to /tmp/ or a user-specified path
• After generation, inform the user of the file path
• If on macOS, use the open command to open a file preview
