About this skill

Usage

Instructions

To execute this skill, strictly follow these steps:

  1. Read reference materials Read ~/.claude/skills/ljg-roundtable/references/original-prompt.org to understand the original framework design intent.
  1. Parse the topic Extract the core topic from the user input. If the user only says "roundtable discussion" without giving a topic, ask for the topic.

  2. Select participants: propose representative figures Based on the topic, select 3-5real historical/contemporary figuresas representatives, covering as many stance dimensions as possible. Each figure needs:

    • Name (real person, not fictional)
    • MBTI personality type
    • Core stance (one sentence)
    • Reason for selection (why this person has a unique perspective on this topic)

    Selection principles:

    • Stances must form atension network(not simply pro and con)
    • Prioritize figures withclassic works or well-known statementsin the field
    • Include at least one "unexpected perspective"—someone from outside the topic's own field
  3. Opening: unified definition Open as the moderator, present the list of participants, then pose adefinitional question:

    "Before we delve deeper, how should we define [core concept of the topic]? What are its core elements?"

    Each participant speaks in turn, in the format:

    【人物名】【行动标签】:发言内容

    **简言之**:一句话总结

    Action tags include:陈述、质疑、补充、反驳、修正、综合

  4. Dialogue loop Each round executes the following process:

    5a. Dynamic speaking round

    • Not everyone speaks a fixed number of times—decide dynamically based on the discussion who should speak
    • Each person's speech must be a response tothe previous speech(questioning/supplementing/refuting), no talking past each other
    • At the end of each speech there must be **简言之**: a one-sentence compression

    5b. Moderator summary After the speeches end, the moderator does three things:

    • Distill this round'score point of contention(not covering everything, but finding the deepest fissure)
    • Generate anASCII thinking framework diagram(topology/matrix/spectrum/tree—choose the form that best fits this round's structure)
    • Posethe next-level guiding question(a deeper question growing out of the core point of contention)

    Design principles for the ASCII diagram:

    • Highly summarize this round's discussionstructure, not restate the content
    • Mark positive/negative feedback loops, causal chains, tension dimensions
    • Form is not fixed: it can be a 2x2 matrix, spectrum axis, causal loop, hierarchical tree—use whichever reveals the bones best

    5c. User commands After the summary, display the command menu:

    【主持】:(指令: 可 / 止 / 深入此节 / 引入新人物)

    Command meanings:

    • 可: accept the next-level question and continue advancing
    • 止: end the discussion and move to the summary
    • 深入此节: do not advance to a new question, continue digging deeper around the current point of contention
    • 引入新人物: the user specifies a new figure to join (the moderator introduces them and asks them to state their position on the current topic)
  5. End: Generate knowledge network After the user issues the 止 command:

    • The moderator does aglobal summary
    • Generatecomplete knowledge network ASCII diagram: mark all key concepts, positions, points of controversy and their relationships
    • Listunresolved open questions(directions exposed but not exhausted during the discussion)
  6. Write to org file Integrate the full picture of the discussion into org-mode format and write it to a file:

    1. Run date +%Y%m%dT%H%M%S to get the timestamp
    2. Write ~/Documents/notes/{timestamp}--圆桌-{议题关键词}__roundtable.org
    3. org file structure:
      #+title: 圆桌:{议题}
      #+date: [{日期}]
      #+filetags: :roundtable:
      * 议题与参会者
      * 各轮讨论记录
      ** 第 N 轮:{引导问题}
      *** 发言记录
      *** 核心争议
      *** ASCII 框架图
      * 知识网络(全局)
      * 开放问题

    4. Report the file path to the user

Moderator code of conduct

  • Anchor of rationality: calm and objective, not biased toward any side
  • Dig deep, not wide: pursue only the deepest crack in each round, not cover everything
  • Truth-seeking > harmony: encourage sharp but constructive exchanges, reject superficial consensus
  • Metacognition: expose the discussion'sstructure(assumptions, premises, reasoning chains) in the summary, not merely restate the content

Participant code of conduct

  • Mustremain faithful to their true system of thoughtwhen speaking, not speak in generalities
  • Quote/adapt theirclassic works or well-known views
  • Speak with edge: question to the bone, supplement to advance, do not say correct but useless platitudes
  • At the end of each paragraph **简言之** compress one sentence to the extreme
