Establish stable creative decision-making boundaries for the entire project, ensuring that multi-day content follows different trending topics while maintaining a consistent style. This strategy remains unchanged during the project; subsequently, only the trending data is updated daily.

Phase 2: Daily Data Collection

Trigger: Execute directly after operations confirms the strategy on the first day; subsequently triggered automatically by Cron.

Refer to references/browser-navigation.md to understand the Douyin page structure and exception handling.

Step 1: Get the day's hot list (browser)

Navigate to https://www.douyin.com/hot。

You should see a hot topic ranking list. Read the title text and popularity values of the Top 50 hot topics. If the page has tabs (hot list/hot search/brand list, etc.), switch through them one by one and record the content of each list.

Wait 3-5 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Fallback: Page fails to load or a CAPTCHA is encountered → Use web_search to search for "Douyin hot search list today" to obtain approximate data.

Step 2: Topic keyword search (browser)

For each specified topic keyword, navigate to https://www.douyin.com/search/<话题词>?type=video。

You should see a list of video search results. Scroll down to load more results (at least 2-3 screens), and read the author name, follower count, like count, and other information on each video card.

Low-follower high-like filtering(complete in your head, no code needed):

筛选标准：
- 作者粉丝数 ≤ {max_followers}（默认 5 万）
- 点赞量相对于作者体量偏高（体现内容质量超过账号权重）
- 不足 5 个：放宽粉丝上限 50%（如 5万 → 7.5万），降低互动率要求 25%

Record the video links, titles, authors, follower counts, and like counts that meet the criteria.

Wait 3-5 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Step 3: Industry trend supplement (web_search)

Use your web search capability to search for "<industry keyword> latest trends Douyin" to supplement industry background information.

Step 4: In-depth analysis of top videos (browser + command line)

From the filtered results in Step 2, select the 1-2 videos with the best performance. On the first daymustexecute; on subsequent days it can be skipped (unless the strategy direction changes).

Step 5: Comment Reading (Browser)

On the video detail page (https://www.douyin.com/video/<video_id>), scroll down to the comment section.

You should see the comment list (sorted by popularity by default). Read the first 20-30 real comments and extract:

• The pain points and needs users care about most
• Frequently appearing keywords and sentiment tendencies
• User feedback on the content (positive/negative/suggestions)

Wait 3-5 seconds, then proceed to the next step.

Fallback: Comment section not visible (login required or page error) → use web_search to search for user discussions on related topics.

Step 6 (Optional): Competitor Account Analysis (Browser)

Only execute when the operations team provides a competitor account.

Navigate to the competitor's homepage https://www.douyin.com/user/<sec_uid>。

Guide the operations team to get the link: open the competitor's homepage in the Douyin App → top-right corner "Share" → "Copy Link".

You should see the competitor's profile section and works list. Record:

• Profile information: nickname, follower count, following count, likes received, bio
• Recent 10-20 works: title, like count, publish time
• Comprehensive analysis: posting frequency, viral hit rate, content type distribution

Wait 3-5 seconds, then proceed to the next step.

Fallback: Homepage inaccessible → use web_search to search for "<competitor name> Douyin account analysis".

Step 7: Speech Transcription Fallback Chain

The speech transcription in Step 4c is executed in the following priority order:

1. faster-whisper local transcription（voice_ready: true ): execute the transcribe.py command, highest accuracy
2. Browser reads Douyin AI chapter highlights（voice_ready: false ): on the video detail page, find the "AI Summary" or "Chapter Highlights" section and directly read the content summary provided by the platform
3. Skip transcription: when none of the above are available, rely only on visual frame analysis and record "no spoken text obtained for this video"

Phase 3: Data Analysis + Direction Recommendations

Execution Method

Cross-analyze all data collected in Phase 2 with the content strategy framework from Phase 1. Refer to the analysis methodology in references/trend-analysis.md and the Douyin recommendation algorithm characteristics in references/douyin-algorithm.md .

Analysis Dimensions

1. Trend matching: cross-match the day's trending lists/hot searches with the client's product/industry to find trends that can be leveraged
2. Viral entry angles: based on the common characteristics of low-follower high-like videos, identify effective content hooks
3. Comment insights: based on real comments read directly in the browser, extract the pain points users care about most, high-frequency keywords, and sentiment tendencies
4. Video type recommendations: talking-head / skit / tutorial / comparative review / knowledge popularization, etc.
5. Competitor differentiation(if competitor data is available): identify gaps in competitor content
6. Content format suitability: based on the visual analysis in Step 4, determine the mainstream content format of the target niche. Assess whether AI video generation (Kling/Seedance) is suitable for this niche:
   • Real-person on-camera niches (such as talking-head, vlog) → recommend outputting talking-head scripts + shooting guidance
   • Product showcase track (e.g., beauty, consumer goods) → suitable for Seedance/Kling AI generation
   • Hybrid → select by segment, partially AI-generated + partially live-action Record the judgment result into the strategy framework; the Phase 4 script format will be adjusted accordingly.
7. Competitor script structure analysis(if speech transcription is available): Based on the spoken script text from step 4c, analyze the script structure of top-performing videos—hook type (suspense/conflict/benefit point), content pacing (information density/pauses), wording style (degree of colloquialism/technical terms), emotional curve (emotional changes from opening → climax → ending)

Prerequisite

Formats 2/3 are 10-15 seconds per segment, split according to the target duration. Hybrid tracks can combine multiple formats.

Supports targeted modification of a certain segment without regenerating everything. After confirmation, decide based on the generation mode:

One-click generate: Subsequent segments are generated automatically and continuously, then displayed together when complete.

Segment 2+: Image-to-video (first and last frame continuity)

Cron Multi-day Plan Automation

Automatic creation

When a publishing plan spans multiple days, a Cron task is automatically created after Phase 1 confirmation, and the operator does not need to configure it manually.

Error handling

• Browser page load failure: Wait 5 seconds and retry once; if it still fails, use web_search to search for the same information as a fallback
• Douyin captcha/login popup: Pause the operation and prompt the operator to complete verification manually before continuing
• yt-dlp download failure: Prompt pip install --upgrade yt-dlp; if it still fails, take a screenshot of the video in the browser as a substitute
• whisper transcription failure: Three-level fallback chain—① faster-whisper local transcription → ② browser reads Douyin AI chapter highlights → ③ skip transcription
• Insufficient browser data: Expand the search scope (add keyword variants) or switch to similar keywords and search again
• Kling generation failed: Display the error; it is recommended to adjust the prompt or switch to Seedance
• Network timeout: Automatically retry once; if it still fails, prompt to check the network
• No overlap with trending topics: Generate based on industry trends; do not force relevance to unrelated hot topics
• Paragraph transitions are unnatural: Adjust the prompt or use --kling-elements to enhance consistency
• Audio is discontinuous: It is recommended to use BGM overlay mode to cover the original audio
