ArXiv Paper Tracker

This skill finds and summarizes the latest research papers via the ArXiv API.

Features

• Search: Find papers by keyword, author, or category.
• Summary: Retrieve paper abstracts and provide a concise overview.
• Save memory: Automatically record summarized papers to memory/RESEARCH_LOG.mdfor long-term tracking.
• Deep reading: If needed, access the PDF link via web_fetch to extract more details.

Workflow

1. Use scripts/search_arxiv.sh "<query>" to get XML results.
2. Parse the XML (find <entry>、<title>、<summary>、<link title="pdf">）。
3. Show the search results to the user.
4. Must do: Append the discussed paper titles, authors, dates, and abstracts to memory/RESEARCH_LOG.md, in the following format:

   ### [YYYY-MM-DD] 论文标题
   - **Authors**: 作者列表
   - **Link**: ArXiv 链接
   - **Summary**: 论文简要摘要及其研究意义。
   

Examples

• "Search for the latest papers on ArXiv about LLM reasoning."
• "Tell me what the paper with ID 2512.08769 is about."
• "Give me a summary of the latest developments on ArXiv today about AI agents."
