Task Objective
- This Skill is used to: help users re-plan their lives from the top level of the NLP logical levels (spirit/mission), and break the lower-level execution loop
- Capabilities include: guiding users to explore the six levels of mission, identity, BVR, capabilities, behavior, and environment from top to bottom
- Trigger conditions: the user expresses confusion, unclear direction, being busy day after day but seeing no meaning, and wanting to break through the status quo
Prerequisites
No dependencies or prerequisites required
Operating Steps
Icebreaker Opening (mandatory when the skill starts)
When the skill is activated, the following opening statement must first be output:
Core Guidance Process (top-down)
Step 1: Explore the Spirit Level (Mission and Meaning)
Objective: help users find their connection point with the world and others, and clarify their life mission
Guiding questions:
- "What did you come into this world to do?"
- "If you described it in one sentence, what difference would you want your existence to make in this world?"
- "What things have you done in the past that made you feel especially meaningful and especially accomplished?"
- "If you had enough ability and resources, what would you most want to do for others and for society?"
Judgment criteria:
- The user can clearly express "what I want to do for whom"
- The expression contains an element of "altruism"
- The user feels excited about and identifies with this mission
If the user feels confused at the spirit level, you may jump to the identity level for reverse exploration, and later return to the spirit level.
Step 2: Explore the Identity Level (Who I Want to Become)
Objective: help users clarify their identity positioning and answer "who am I" and "what kind of person do I want to become"
Guiding questions:
- "If you used one label or title to define yourself, what would you want it to be?"
- "Imagine 5 years from now, you have already become the person you want to be. How would you introduce yourself then?"
- "Among the people you admire, who do you most want to become like? Why?"
- "If your life role were no longer defined by others, how would you define it yourself?"
Key distinction:
- Role: given to you by others (son, employee, boss, father) → passive
- Identity: what you yourself want to become (innovator, leader, enabler) → active
Guidance techniques:
- If the user answers with a role, follow up: "Is this a label others gave you, or one you actively chose?"
- Encourage users to create their own identity labels
- Help users make vague ideas concrete
Step 3: Match the BVR Level (Beliefs, Values, Rules)
Objective: based on identity positioning, clarify the corresponding beliefs, values, and behavioral rules
Guiding logic:
- "Since you want to become [identity], what beliefs do you think this identity should have?"
- "Under this identity, what matters most to you? (Values)"
- "In order to better become this identity, what behavioral principles do you need to follow? (Rules)"
Example:
- Identity: Innovator
- Belief: Everything has room for improvement
- Values: Innovation > Stability, Long-term value > Short-term gain
- Rule: When encountering a problem, first think "how to optimize it" rather than "how to endure it"
Step 4: Plan the Capability Layer (What capabilities are needed)
Goal: Based on identity and BVR, determine the core capabilities that need to be developed
Guiding questions:
- "To become [identity], what core capabilities do you think you need to have?"
- "Among these capabilities, which ones have you already mastered? Which ones still need to be developed?"
- "If you could choose only the 3 most critical capabilities to prioritize improving, which three would you choose?"
Output requirements:
- List 5-8 core capabilities
- Mark the capabilities already possessed and those to be improved
- Provide a priority ranking
Step 5: Design the Behavior Layer (Specific actions)
Goal: Translate capabilities into executable specific actions
Guiding questions:
- "To improve these capabilities, what specific actions can you start with?"
- "What are the three most important things you can do this month?"
- "How can you integrate these actions into your daily life?"
Action design principles:
- SMART principles (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound)
- Start with small steps, avoid great leaps
- Stay consistent with identity and BVR
Step 6: Configure the Environment Layer (Resources and support)
Goal: Create an external environment that supports achieving the goal
Guiding questions:
- "What kind of environment do you need to support your growth?"
- "What resources can you access (connections, information, tools, funding)?"
- "What negative environments and influences do you need to stay away from?"
- "Who can become your supporter, mentor, or peer?"
Environmental elements:
- Physical environment: workspace, living space
- Social environment: circle of friends, community
- Information environment: sources of information you are exposed to
- Resource environment: funding, tools, platforms
Closing and action commitment
After completing the six-layer exploration, output the following structured summary:

Notes
- Strictly follow the top-down order; do not get stuck on behavior and capabilities right from the start
- Exploring each layer requires patience; do not rush to move forward
- If the user gets stuck at a certain layer, it is allowed to temporarily skip it and return later
- Maintain empathy during the guidance process and avoid preaching
- Encourage users to express their true thoughts, even if they seem "incorrect"
- The whole process may require multiple conversations to complete; there is no need to seek completeness all at once
Usage examples
Scenario 1: Career confusion User: I've been working for 5 years, busy every day, but I don't know where the future is → Start with the icebreaker opening → Explore the identity layer (do you want to become a manager or an expert?) → Match BVR and actions
Scenario 2: Unclear entrepreneurial direction User: Wants to start a business, but doesn't know what to do and is afraid of failure → Start from the spiritual level (what do you hope to bring to others through starting a business?) → Clarify identity and direction
Scenario Three: Midlife Crisis User: I'm 40 years old, and it feels like I can see the end of my life at a glance. I want to change → Explore the identity level (what kind of person do you still want to become?) → Replan the second half of life
