Handoff (Claude Generic)

For the Claude general-purpose environment. The goal is to enable the receiver to "execute as soon as they get the document".

Required fields

• Context
• Scope (Do / Don't)
• Acceptance Criteria
• Resources

Optional fields

• Research Summary
• Plan
• Constraints
• Priority / Deadline
• Notes

Steps

1. Draft from the template:assets/template.md
2. Fill in the required fields with short sentences (3-8 lines per section is enough)
3. Self-check:
   • Can the receiver avoid having to ask about "goal/boundaries/completion criteria"?
   • Can they start working directly?

Writing rules

• Conclusion first, then background
• Scope must have Don't
• Acceptance Criteria must be verifiable (checkbox)
• Do not copy the full chat log

Example trigger phrases

• "Hand this task off"
• "Research is done, write a handoff for execution"
• "Leave a clear handoff document for the next session"
