Run scripts/validate_governance.py <vault>/wiki --format json first. If an
upstream OKF checker is installed in the host environment, run it as a separate
gate and report its command and version. When none is installed, state that
upstream conformance was not independently checked. Treat the framework
validator as additional policy, not a replacement for the OKF specification.
Return an upstream_check object beside findings and summary. When a
checker is available, record status, its exact command, and version.
When unavailable, use {"status": "unavailable", "command": null, "version": null} so absence is recorded rather than treated as a pass. Keep
upstream conformance errors distinct from framework-policy findings.
Audit
- Report structural errors from the validator, including OKF v0.2 reserved files, provenance, trust, lifecycle, and taxonomy checks.
- Review citation precision, contradictions, topic extraction, and takeaway fidelity separately. These are judgment-only checks.
- Return one machine-readable result with
findingsandsummary. Preserve validator findings withdetection: automatic; label every judgment-only findingdetection: judgment-required. Include exact files and suggested fixes, grouped by severity. - Append the lint result to
wiki/log.mdonly when the user asks to record the operation. Never fix findings without explicit approval.
Read references/lint-policy.md for the severity model.
