About this skill

wewrite-rewrite — one source, multi-platform rewriting

Operating conventions

  • CLI: deterministic operations go through the wewrite command (must be in PATH; if missing, guide to uv tool install wewrite, or in the repository bash install.sh)。
  • {home}: user state directory = $WEWRITE_HOME or ~/.wewrite(wewrite home can be checked). config/style/history/playbook/output/exemplars are all in {home}, not in the repository; state paths in references documents follow the same convention.
  • 读取: <路径> = actually finish reading the file with a file-reading tool before continuing, not a comment.
  • references/: this skill comes with {skill_dir}/references/; {skill_dir} inside references documents refers to this skill's directory.
  • Task state: use wewrite run show to read the current task.

Prerequisites

  1. Source article: resolve by priority—user-specified file/pasted content > current task's artifacts.article. If neither exists → ask the user "which article do you want to rewrite? Give me the file path or paste the full text directly". Once determined, copy/save the source to the current task directory's source.md(needed for the quality gate).
  2. Target platforms: if the user named them, use those; if not named → list the available platforms under {skill_dir}/platforms/ (currently: xiaohongshu Xiaohongshu, douyin Douyin) and ask the user which ones they want, or "all".

Execution

读取: {skill_dir}/references/multiplatform-rewrite.md

For each target platform:

  1. 读取: {skill_dir}/platforms/<id>.yaml, rewrite according to its rewrite_brief, word-count range, number of tags, and output format.
  2. Follow the originality iron rule of multiplatform-rewrite.md (content-level true rewriting, restructuring information order/opening/expression, not rewriting-by-washing) and the persona consistency requirement (the persona core stays unchanged, only the expression style is adapted).
  3. Pass the dual quality gate (the "Quality Gate" subsection of multiplatform-rewrite.md): quality_score ≥ 60, and similarity to the source and other platform versions max_similarity ≤ 0.6; if it fails, rewrite that version, at most 2 times.
  4. Write to the current task directory's <platform 的 output_filename>, without overwriting the source draft or other tasks.

Completion

Report each platform version's output path, word count, and quality gate result; for the Xiaohongshu version, explain the image situation (which images from the source draft were reused, or "images need to be added"). Reminder: publishing to each platform account is a manual action by the user; WeWrite currently only publishes to the WeChat official account draft box.
