The quarter is over, but there's no understanding of "where we're heading" — only scattered reports that never get dealt with. This skill brings revenue, margin and customer base health together into one coherent document with opportunities and risks — so you can decide based on numbers, not feelings.
Run a quarterly business review. Pull financial, sales and customer data for the quarter, weave it into a narrative and assemble a presentation-ready document.
⚠️ Disclaimer. The financial figures are prepared for review by your accountant. This is not tax or legal advice.
Argument parsing:
--quarter(defaults to the previous calendar quarter) — formatГГГГ-КвN, where RF quarters are: Q1 (Jan–Mar), Q2 (Apr–Jun), Q3 (Jul–Sep), Q4 (Oct–Dec)--save-to(defaultfiles) —files(~~хранилище: Yandex Disk / Mail.ru Cloud),desktoporboth
Step 1 — Financial metrics
Following the skill's workflow business-pulse in deep mode:
- Pull the P&L from
~~бухгалтерияfor the quarter: revenue, cost of goods sold, gross margin, operating expenses, net margin. - Compare with the previous quarter and the same quarter of the previous year (if available).
- Pull receipts from
~~платежиfor the same period to reconcile with revenue in the accounting records. - Calculate: revenue growth %, margin change in points, top-3 revenue categories.
If the owner is a VAT payer (income over 20 million ₽ in 2026), calculate margin from revenue excluding VAT and note the VAT status in the narrative — this affects comparability with previous periods if the status has changed.
Step 2 — Customer base health
- Pull deal data from
~~crm: new customers, churn, average order value, pipeline for the next quarter. - Calculate customer acquisition cost (if data is available) and revenue per customer.
- Flag customers generating >20% of revenue (concentration risk).
Step 3 — Key opportunities
Identify 3 specific opportunities for the next quarter based on the data:
- Revenue growth (category, customer segment, or channel worth strengthening)
- Margin growth (cost to cut or price to raise)
- Customer growth (segment to target or churn to reduce)
Step 4 — Key risks
Identify 3 specific risks for the next quarter:
- Revenue risk (concentration, trend, seasonality)
- Margin risk (cost growth, price pressure, change in VAT status)
- Operational risk (funnel gap, supplier dependency)
Step 5 — Review narrative
Write a 500–800 word narrative in simple business Russian with the following structure:
- Quarter headline (one sentence)
- Revenue story (trend + why)
- Margin story (trend + why)
- Customer story (health + funnel)
- Three opportunities
- Three risks
- Call-to-action paragraph for the next quarter
Step 6 — Export
Assemble:
qbr-{ГГГГ-КвN}.pdf— formatted narrative + key tables (as ASCII tables if there is no charting tool)- Save to
--save-to
Connector failures
If ~~бухгалтерия is unavailable — stop: the review requires financial accounting data as its foundation. If ~~платежи is unavailable — skip reconciliation and note “payments are not connected — revenue verified against accounting only.” If ~~crm is unavailable — skip customer health (Step 2) and note “CRM is not connected — customer section skipped.”
Approval gates
- Never publish or send the review automatically. Always show it to the owner for review first.
- Check if any source returned incomplete data — indicate gaps in the narrative.
Conclusion
Show the narrative in the chat, then confirm the export. End with a paragraph "what to focus on next quarter."
