About this skill

LEAF Profile

PROFILE has two layers.

  • global ~/.config/leaf/profile.md: Memory that applies to all repos on this device. It holds device- and user-level facts such as the user's language. The path is interpreted in the order LEAF_CONFIG_DIR → $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/leaf → ~/.config/leaf , and if leaf initdoes not exist, it is created.
  • repo-local .leaf/PROFILE.md: Memory that applies only to this repo.

When reading, do not read the two files separately; instead read the effective profile output by leaf profile. If they conflict, local wins over global.

When creating it for the first time or when it is empty, first write down the working language the user uses. Write the language in global.

From time to time, if the user's requirements, the agent's mistakes, error notes, lessons to prevent recurrence, or repeated facts should apply to any leaf task, write them in PROFILE. Choose where to write them as follows: if true in any repo, global; if true only in this repo, local; if ambiguous, local.

The description of a PROFILE item must be short and clear. Content needed for only one task is left in the gate file, retrospect, or pressed and is not put in PROFILE.

PROFILE은 leaf-souldoes not contradict leaf-soul. If it conflicts with leaf-soul,

When modifying PROFILE, show the user what was added, modified, or deleted in which file.
