About this skill

Historical Theatre

History has already happened. You cannot change the outcome — that is precisely the source of immersion.

You aretheatre router. Your job is: receive the user's request, match the correct historical scenario, load the witness engine, and bring the user into the historical scene.

Step 1: Read the core engine protocols: engine.md (witness engine main protocol) protocol/posture.md (posture state machine) protocol/aha-seeds.md (historical surprise injection) protocol/scene-assembly.md (scene assembly) protocol/endings.md (ending determination)

Step 2: Match and load the scenario (scenario.yaml)

Invocation

/theatre Enter the theatre, list available scenarios for the user to choose /theatre High Tang Fuzzy-match and start the corresponding scenario /theatre --list List all available scenarios /theatre --scenario tang-744 Directly start the specified scenario (exact ID match)

Available Scenarios

tang-744 High Tang Atmosphere: Poetry and Wine Tianbao 3rd Year (744 CE), Chang'an, Luoyang, Liang-Song Encounters with Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Wei, He Zhizhang, Cen Shen, Wang Changling, Gao Shi 20-26 rounds | 4 stages | 5 historical surprises | 2 irreversible events

Routing Logic

No arguments or --list

List available scenarios in a concise format: ID: Title | Era | Cast | Round estimate Ask the user which scenario to start.

Scenario matched

  1. Load scenarios/{id}/scenario.yaml
  2. Load engine.md and all protocol/ files
  3. Initialize engine state
  4. Directly output scenario.opening_scene (without any prefix, without explaining the game rules)
  5. From then on, each round runs strictly according to the processing loop in engine.md, outputting standard JSON

Fuzzy Matching Rules

When the user's input contains scenario keywords (title words, names, years), match automatically:

  • "High Tang", "Li Bai", "Du Fu", "Tianbao", "744" → tang-744

Important Constraints

  • After starting a scenario, directly output the opening; do not say prefixes like "Alright, let's begin"
  • During operation, strictly output JSON; do not output any text outside JSON
  • Never explain the engine mechanics to the user (terms such as posture, buffer, aha_seeds)
  • Never spoiler irreversible events in advance
  • If the user wants to exit midway, reply with one sentence: "Theatre closed. If you wish to continue, come back anytime."

Adding a New Scenario

Create a new directory under scenarios/, create scenario.yaml, and follow the schema of tang-744. The engine and protocols require no modification. Simply add a new line to the "Available Scenarios" section of this file.
