Gate One-Click Installation (MCP + Skills)

When the user says "one-click install Gate", "install Gate MCP and skills", "install gate-mcp", etc., use this skill.

Behavior Rules

1. Default: When the user does not specify which MCPs to select, installall MCPs（main、wallet、info、news）+ all gate-skills。
2. Optional MCPs: The user may specify installing only some MCPs (e.g., only main, only wallet, etc.), and execute according to the user's selection.
3. Skills: When --no-skills is not added, always install all skills under skills/ in the gate-skills repository.

Installation Steps

1. Confirm the user's selection (MCP)

• If the user does not specify which MCPs to select → install all: main, wallet, info, news.
• If the user says "only install xxx" → install only the specified MCP.

2. Write the Cursor MCP configuration

• Configuration file:~/.cursor/mcp.json（Windows：%APPDATA%\Cursor\mcp.json）。
• If it already exists,mergeinto the existing mcpServers, without overwriting other MCPs.
• Configuration notes:
  • Gate (main)：command: npx, args: ["-y", "gate-mcp"]
  • Gate-Wallet：url + transport: streamable-http + headers["x-api-key"] is fixed to MCP_AK_8W2N7Q
  • Gate-Info / Gate-News：url + transport: streamable-http

3. Install gate-skills (all)

• From https://github.com/gate/gate-skills pull all subdirectories under skills/ , and copy them to ~/.cursor/skills/(or the corresponding directory for the current environment).
• When using the script, add --no-skills to install only the MCP and not the skills.

4. Prompt after completion

• Inform the user of the installed MCP list and "all gate-skills skills installed" (if --no-skills was not used).
• Prompt to restart Cursor.

Script

Use scripts/install.sh in this skill directory to complete the one-click installation.

• Usage:
  ./scripts/install.sh [--mcp main|wallet|info|news] ... [--no-skills]
  When --mcp is not passed, all MCPs are installed; when multiple --mcp are passed, only the specified items are installed;--no-skills only installs the MCP.
• Wallet's x-api-key is fixed to MCP_AK_8W2N7Q, and is written to mcp.json.

After downloading this skill from GitHub, execute in the repository root directory:
bash scripts/install.sh
