About this skill

Natural portrait retouching

Task start

First read the assets, confirm the delivery purpose, target size or duration, scope of modifications, and required formats. Directly adopt reasonable defaults for details that can be determined from the task and assets; only ask about missing conditions that would change the result.

When a visible editor is needed, hand it to the photocraft-editor skill. Standalone installation:npx skills add full-aigc-skills/photocraft-skills --skill photocraft-editor. The currently added skill is a local candidate; use the local companion plugin before publishing, and do not treat this installation command as proof of publication.

Execution steps

  1. First distinguish temporary acne marks from identity features; moles, scars, and wrinkles are retained by default.
  2. Duplicate a local repair layer, sample nearby texture in the same direction, and remove temporary blemishes point by point.
  3. Use local masks to adjust exposure and color cast, processing the face, neck, and hands separately to avoid skin tone discontinuities.
  4. Apply low-intensity local brightening to the eyes and hair strands, then finally match the background brightness.

Tool implementation

Use doc_open/doc_new to open or create, doc_inspect to view layers; command_list to query actual commands, command_run to execute; doc_save to save .pcraft, doc_export to export.

First read the actual tool schema, then fill in parameters; use return values for object or document IDs. Queried commands must be available on the current backend. Choose a new output path before saving and preserve the input. When a required algorithm, format, or command does not exist, state the gap; do not pass off a similar name as a substitute.

Result check

  • Check pore texture and facial contours to avoid a wax-figure effect.
  • Compare the skin tones of the head, neck, and hands; the whites of the eyes must not be pure white with clipping.
  • Keep the repair layers and adjustment layers; deliver a natural version rather than one that changes facial features.

Check the actual content against the user's goals, not just the process exit code. For local edits, inspect local details; for layout tasks, inspect the full page; for time-based media, inspect the start, end, and key segments. For abnormal results, first inspect the current project to avoid repeating irreversible operations.

Delivery

Return the editable project, actual derived files, and a brief note: what modifications were made, which steps were not performed due to current capabilities, and what requires the user's judgment. List only files that actually exist and have been checked. If the user later requests rework, read this session's source project and make local modifications, preserving accepted content.
