About this skill

Interview editing

Before executing the specific method, read Craft scenario commands and parameters, and execute according to the object selection, session, input replacement, and result checking described therein.

Task starting point

First read the source material and confirm the delivery purpose, target dimensions or duration, scope of changes, and required formats. For details that can be determined from the task and the material, adopt reasonable defaults directly; only ask about missing conditions that would change the result.

When a visible editor is needed, hand off to the filmcraft-editor skill. Standalone installation:npx skills add full-aigc-skills/filmcraft-skills --skill filmcraft-editor. The currently added skill is a local candidate; before release, use the local companion plugin, and do not treat this installation command as proof of release.

Execution steps

  1. Record timecodes by topic and preserve the original context.
  2. First organize the main line by answer content, then remove repetitions and obvious slips of the tongue.
  3. Cover jump cuts with appropriate B-roll, and avoid concealing splices that change the original meaning.
  4. Check speaker, subtitles, and audio continuity.

Before trimming, read the actual clip IDs from the current sequence; do not default to clip=1. The $ref in structured steps is a manual notation and must be replaced with an actual integer.

Tool implementation

Use command_list to read the current Web engine commands; command_run executes on the visible page, inspect verifies; open_file imports material, list_files checks exports, save_project or save_file writes to a new path in the workspace.

First read the actual tool schema, then fill in the parameters; use returned values for object or document IDs. Queried commands must be available on the current backend. Before saving, choose a new output path and preserve the input. If the required algorithm, format, or command does not exist, state the gap; do not pass off a similar name as the real thing.

Result checking

  • The meaning after editing is faithful to the original words.
  • No truncated words, abrupt volume changes, or incorrect names.
  • Preserve source-material references and a reworkable project.

Check the actual content against the user's goal, not just the process exit code. For local edits, inspect local details; for layout tasks, inspect the whole page; for time-based media, inspect the start, end, and key segments. For abnormal results, check the current project first to avoid repeatedly performing irreversible operations.

Delivery

Return the editable project, the actual derived files, and a brief explanation: what changes were made, which steps were not executed due to current capabilities, and what requires the user's judgment. List only files that actually exist and have been checked. If the user subsequently requests rework, read this source project and make local modifications, preserving the content already accepted.

Skill store scenario experience

When encountering interview excerpts that preserve context, readStore workflow adaptation, and use the corresponding Craft method and actual result checking. Upstream skills are not runtime dependencies.

main single-side selection

When the user requests modifying only one side of linked audio and video, first readmain linked selection parameters, distinguish this selection from global preferences, and check that the linked partner has not been modified. The Windows built-in demo project has verified single-side deletion, partner protection, and undo after reopening; real media audition and host synchronization have not been accepted.
