Goals
Solve common problems:
- PPT version chaos (final_v7)
- Repeated chart screenshots, degraded clarity
- Unstable presentation structure (imbalanced information density)
This skill gives slides:
- Text source (Markdown / Quarto / LaTeX Beamer)
- Reproducible export (PDF, optional PPTX)
- Chart reuse (directly reference
figures/final exports, no screenshots)
Technical route (choose by constraints)
- Slidev: developer-friendly, component-based, suitable for group meetings/technical sharing
- Marp: controllable layout, suitable for quickly generating a concise style
- Reveal.js: strong web interactivity, suitable for demos/interactive presentations
- Quarto slides: integrated report/paper/slides (recommended for report + slides linkage)
For content structure, it is recommended to use
scientific-slides; this skill focuses more on the "engineering and export pipeline".
Meta-rules (the 80/20 of slide quality)
1) One conclusion per page
- The title is the conclusion, not the topic
- Each page serves only one question: What / Why / How / So what
2) No screenshotting figures
- Figures are only referenced from
figures/**/out/(PDF/SVG/PNG) - Do not screenshot from a paper PDF and paste it back into PPT
3) Fixed narration order
Recommended skeleton:
- Background and gap (1–2 pages)
- Method intuition (1–2 schematic pages)
- Core results (3–6 pages, one figure and one conclusion per page)
- Limitations and next steps (1–2 pages)
