Compile something intoaprompt that can be handed directly to an image model, with the style locked to "a real engineering drawing": not adding a blue filter, but drawing according to drafting standards—line weight hierarchy, dimension annotations, title block, revision record, none omitted.
Core principle:A drawing's credibility comes from drafting standards, not from blue. Anyone can adjust white lines on a blue background; what truly makes people believe it is line weights with clear thick-thin distinction, dimension lines with arrows, and that title block in the lower right filled with fields. The more complete the standards, the more real the drawing looks.
And
cyber-terminal-schematicdivision of labor: that one isa glowing screen(CRT phosphor, scanlines, glow spill, uniform line weights); this one isprinted paper(paper grain, creases, uneven ink, line weight hierarchy). The two have different carriers and different grammar; do not borrow elements from each other—no glow on a blueprint, no creases on a terminal.
Three formats
| Cover | Inline Illustration | Sheet | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Goal | Eye-catching on the first screen, clickable | Explain one paragraph clearly | It is a drawing itself |
| Format (locked) | 5:2 landscape | 16:9 | 3:2 landscape(A3 ratio) |
| Main title | Huge, rendered into the image | Very little Latin small text, or none | No large title; the title is only in the title block |
| Drafting apparatus | Full set but dimmed | Streamlined | Full set and complete; it is one of the protagonists |
Three paper registers (PAPER REGISTER)
Choose one at a time, keep it consistent throughout, do not mix:
- CYANOTYPE (default): deep Prussian blue background + white lines. Classic blueprint, with the strongest sense of age and recognizability.
- WHITEPRINT (optional): off-white paper background + deep blue lines. Modern diazo print. When information density is high and there are many annotations, it is more readable than a blue background.
- SEPIA (optional): aged brown-yellow paper + dark brown lines. The feel of archives, history, old patent drawings.
The user did not specify CYANOTYPE.
Four drawing modes (DRAWING MODE)
This is the backbone of this skill; choose according to the content, do not default to using only the first type:
| What the content is | Which one to use | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Processes, systems, division of labor, workflows | TOPOLOGY Process topology | Node-link diagram, entry → branches → convergence → exit, with leader-line annotations |
| A specific object, product, tool | ORTHOGRAPHIC Three-view drawing | Front / side / top three projections side by side, centerlines running through, full set of dimensions |
| Something made up of multiple parts | EXPLODED Exploded view | Parts pulled apart along one axis, dashed alignment lines, balloon numbers paired with a parts list |
| Need to zoom in on one spot | DETAIL Detail section | Main drawing + circled local area + enlarged detail to one side, with section cut symbols and hatching |
Abstract concepts also have to land in one of these—for "the system is leaking" use TOPOLOGY to draw broken edges, for "the three faces of this tool" use ORTHOGRAPHIC, for "what is it assembled from" use EXPLODED.
Three print texture levels (PRINT TEXTURE)
Texture sits over the drawing and never eats lines or text. Use one level for the whole piece:
| Level | What it is for | What is added |
|---|---|---|
| PRINT-01 CLEAN | Drawings with dense annotations, long-title covers | Paper grain + slight ink unevenness + faint edge fading |
| PRINT-02 STANDARD (default) | Covers and most illustrations | Previous level + horizontal embossed bands + two creases + darkened corners + floating dust |
| PRINT-03 AGED | Talking about old things, archives, things worn out from being read too much | Previous level + coffee and water stains + curled edges and tears + pinholes in the four corners + handwritten red-pen annotations + photocopy ghosting |
Read
- Prompt compilation: read
references/compile-contract.md(disambiguation iron rules + line weight hierarchy + drafting device checklist + the original text of the three registers and three texture levels + fixed skeleton). Copy English paragraphs wholesale; do not rewrite them yourself. - For finished-piece reference or to batch-produce the whole piece: read
references/examples.md(already-decided finished prompts for cover + three-view drawing + exploded view).
Input
Infer from user input; no form-filling required:
- Aspect ratio: cover 5:2 / illustration 16:9 / drawing 3:2.
- Drawing mode:TOPOLOGY / ORTHOGRAPHIC / EXPLODED / DETAIL。
- Paper register: CYANOTYPE (default) / WHITEPRINT / SEPIA.
- Texture level: PRINT-01 / PRINT-02 (default) / PRINT-03.
- Main title: copy the user's original text as-is, do not translate or polish; Chinese main titles are recommended to be 2-8 characters. Only covers render large titles.
- Drawing content: turn the theme into concrete nodes / projections / parts, and every item must have a name and number.
Workflow
- Determine aspect ratio: cover 5:2, illustration 16:9, pure drawing 3:2.
- Determine drawing mode: choose according to the table above; one drawing has only one main mode.
- Determine register and texture level: default CYANOTYPE + PRINT-02; use one level throughout the whole piece.
- Arrange line weights: outlines thick, dimension lines thin, centerlines dash-dot, hidden lines dashed, hatching fine dense slanted lines. If this is not arranged clearly, what comes out is a "blue flowchart" rather than a drawing.
- Install drafting devices: drawing frame zones + title block at lower right + revision table + dimensions + balloon numbers + scale bar; decide how many to install based on aspect ratio (cover darkened, drawings use all).
- Prompt compilation: according to
compile-contract.mdfixed skeleton output the finished piece, no placeholders, no menu, body text with zero Chinese (except rendered titles); copy the PRINT TEXTURE section wholesale. - Output: format + mode + register + texture grade + one complete prompt + (optional) one sentence of selection rationale. When the user only wants the prompt, omit the explanation.
Quality Gates
- Line types must be graded: all lines the same thickness = failed image. Outline, dimension, center, and hidden lines must be visually distinguishable.
- Annotations must hold up: dimension lines have arrows at both ends, extension lines, and numbers; leader lines point to specific locations; balloon numbers match the parts list. Annotations are decoration, not content, but fake annotations are worse than none.
- The title block cannot be empty: every cell of the title block in the lower right must have a value, and it must be written item by item in the TEXT section as
字段 / 值(PROJECT / FLOW-01, TYPE / TOPOLOGY, SCALE / 1:1, SHEET / 01). Writing only in the fixture sectionevery cell filledwill make the model draw the field names and leave the right side blank — the most frequently observed failure point in testing. - Single ink color: one register has only one line color, at most one accent color (red-pen annotation appears only in PRINT-03, and only it may be the second color).
- Screen elements must not appear: glow, bloom, scanlines, fluorescent green, HUD panels, system logs — those belong to
cyber-terminal-schematic, and their appearance means it is off-flavor. - Texture does not eat content: in the thumbnail state, the main title, node names, and annotation numbers are still recognizable.
- The main title is rendered precisely; for Chinese titles use the user's original text, with no fake Chinese characters; secondary small text uses Latin field labels and numbers.
- Do not generate long passages of text that look like a real, readable technical document; annotations are short labels and numbers, not sentences.
- This skill only produces prompts, and does not fabricate already-generated image results.
