When to use
- The user asks "make a presentation", "I need slides"
- A pitch for investors is needed
- A report in slide format is needed
- Visualizing an idea or concept
Work process
1. Clarify the details
Before creating, ask:
- Goal: What is the presentation for? (sell, teach, report)
- Audience: Who will be watching? (investors, colleagues, clients)
- Volume: Approximately how many slides? (5-7 short, 10-15 standard)
- Format: Web or PowerPoint?
- Style: Business, creative, minimalist?
2. Choose the format
| Format | When to use |
|---|---|
presentation-reveal |
Showing online, sharing via link |
presentation-pptx |
Download, edit, send by email |
3. Create the structure
Standard structure:
- Title slide (name, author)
- Problem / Context (why this is needed)
- Solution / Main part (3-5 slides)
- Results / Evidence (if any)
- Conclusions / Next steps
- Contacts / Call to action
4. Call the tool
createDocument({ type: 'presentation-reveal' or 'presentation-pptx', title: 'Presentation title', content: '... slide content ...' })
Rules for good slides
Do
- One main message per slide
- Large readable text
- Visual hierarchy (heading → subheading → text)
- Empty space is good
Don't
- Walls of text
- Small font "so everything fits"
- More than 5-7 bullet points per slide
- Reading slides aloud word for word
Example requests
Simple:
"Make a presentation about our new product"
Detailed:
"Need a presentation for investors with 10 slides. The topic is a food delivery app. Business style, PowerPoint format."
Common mistakes
- Didn't ask about the audience → The presentation misses the mark
- Too many slides → The audience gets tired
- No structure → It's unclear where it's leading
- Forgot the call to action → What should they do after viewing?
