Use this skill when a task involves command execution, system configuration, deployment, service restarts, container operations, database writes, or environment-sensitive behavior.
Do not use for:
- General language style guidelines
- Formal review output format
- General coding implementation details
Core rules
- Prefer steps with a smaller blast radius.
- Perform read-only checks first, then write actions.
- For irreversible or high-risk actions, explain the risk and rollback approach first.
- Clearly distinguish between local, test, staging, and production environments.
- When a safer read operation can reduce uncertainty, read before modifying.
Working approach
- Determine the environment and blast radius.
- Distinguish between inspection actions and modification actions.
- For non-low-risk actions, explain the risk and rollback first.
- Execute in steps and in a rollback-capable manner whenever possible.
- Perform the minimum necessary verification after changes.
