About this skill

UI/UX Pro Max - Design Intelligence Library

A searchable database of UI styles, color schemes, font pairings, chart types, product recommendations, UX guidelines, and tech stack best practices.

How to Use

When users raise UI/UX-related requests (design, build, create, implement, review, fix, improve), follow this process:

Step 1: Analyze user needs

Extract key information from the user request:

  • Product Type: SaaS, e-commerce, portfolio, dashboard, landing page, etc.
  • Style Keywords: minimalist, playful, professional, elegant, dark mode, etc.
  • Industry Domain: healthcare, fintech, gaming, education, etc.
  • Tech Stack: React, Vue, Next.js, default html-tailwind。

Step 2: Search relevant domains

Use search.py multiple times to obtain complete information until you have sufficient context.

python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "<keyword>" --domain <domain> [-n <max_results>]

Recommended search order:

  1. Product - Get style suggestions for the product type
  2. Style - Get detailed style guides (colors, effects, frameworks)
  3. Typography - Get font pairings and Google Fonts imports
  4. Color - Get color schemes (primary, secondary, CTA, background, body text, border)
  5. Landing - Get page structure (if it is a landing page)
  6. Chart - Get chart recommendations (if it is a data dashboard/analytics)
  7. UX - Get best practices and anti-patterns
  8. Stack - Get tech stack best practices (default html-tailwind)

Step 3: Tech Stack Guide (default: html-tailwind)

If the user does not specify a tech stack, default to using html-tailwind。

python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "<keyword>" --stack html-tailwind

Available tech stacks:html-tailwind、react、nextjs、vue、svelte、swiftui、react-native、flutter

AI should:

# 1. 检索产品类型
python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "beauty spa wellness service" --domain product

# 2. 检索风格(基于行业:beauty、elegant)
python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "elegant minimal soft" --domain style

# 3. 检索字体搭配
python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "elegant luxury" --domain typography

# 7. 检索技术栈指南(默认:html-tailwind)
python3 skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "layout responsive" --stack html-tailwind

Then: Synthesize all search results and implement the design.

Tips for Improving Result Quality

  1. Be as specific as possible with keywords - "healthcare SaaS dashboard" > "app"
  2. Search multiple times - different keywords will reveal different information
  3. Combine multiple domains - Style + Typography + Color = complete design system
  4. Always check UX - search "animation", "z-index", "accessibility" to avoid common issues
  5. Use the stack parameter - Get implementation-level best practices
  6. Iterative search - If the first result does not match, switch keywords and retry

Common rules for professional UI

These issues are often overlooked and can make the UI look unprofessional:

Icons and visual elements

Rule Recommendation Avoid
Do not use emoji icons Use SVG icons (Heroicons, Lucide, Simple Icons) Using emoji such as 🎨 🚀 ⚙️ as UI icons
Stable hover states Use color/opacity transitions on hover Using scaling that causes layout jitter
Correct brand logos Get official SVGs from Simple Icons Guessing or using incorrect logos
Consistent icon sizes Use a fixed viewBox (24x24) and w-6 h-6 Mixing different sizes

Interaction and pointer

Rule Recommendation Avoid
Mouse pointer cues Add to all clickable cards cursor-pointer Interactive elements still use the default pointer
Hover feedback Provide color/shadow/border feedback No visible cue for interaction
Transitions should be smooth transition-colors duration-200 Abrupt changes or too slow (>500ms)

Light and dark contrast

Rule Recommendation Avoid
Light glass cards Use bg-white/80 or higher opacity bg-white/10(too transparent)
Light text contrast Use for body text #0F172A(slate-900) Use #94A3B8(slate-400)
Light secondary text Minimum #475569(slate-600) Use gray-400 or lighter
Border visibility For light use border-gray-200 Use border-white/10(invisible)

Layout and spacing

Rule Recommendation Avoid
Floating navigation bar Add top-4 left-4 right-4 spacing Directly against top-0 left-0 right-0
Content padding Reserve the height of the fixed navigation Content obscured by fixed elements
Consistent max width Use consistently max-w-6xl or max-w-7xl Mixing different container widths

Pre-delivery checklist

Before delivering UI code, confirm the following:

Visual quality

  • Do not use emoji as icons (use SVG instead)
  • Icons come from a consistent icon set (Heroicons/Lucide)
  • Brand logos are correct (verified from Simple Icons)
  • Hover states do not cause layout jitter
  • Use theme colors directly (such as bg-primary), without wrapping them in var()

Interaction

  • All clickable elements have cursor-pointer
  • Hover feedback is clearly visible
  • Transition animations are smooth (150-300ms)
  • Keyboard navigation has visible focus states

Light and dark mode

  • Light mode text contrast meets the 4.5:1 minimum requirement
  • Light mode glass/transparent elements are visible
  • Borders are visible in both light and dark modes
  • Test both light and dark themes before delivery

Layout

  • Floating elements have sufficient spacing from edges
  • Content is not obscured by fixed navigation
  • Responds normally at 320px, 768px, 1024px, 1440px
  • No horizontal scrolling on mobile

Accessibility

  • All images have alt text
  • Form inputs have labels
  • Color is not the only means of conveying information
  • Respect prefers-reduced-motion
