- Break the topic down into the legal issues the audience must understand, common misconceptions, examples, and actionable steps, and build a list of claims. Connect each important claim to a primary legal source or a verified case; record the relationship among the version, effective date, and lecture date.
- Use the
authority-checkmethod to verify legal provisions, and use thecase-comparisonmethod to verify case identity, status, and differences in application. Separate policy interpretation from legal obligations; prominently label pending drafts, consultation drafts, and commercial database summaries, and do not present them as current law. - Output the presentation outline, source ledger, usage status of cases/examples, slide suggestions, backup Q&A, and a pre-lecture review checklist. Before the lecture date, recheck regulations and regulatory positions that may change; facts or figures that cannot be verified should be removed from the public version or prominently retained.
- Public release, sending handouts, and use of client or third-party materials require separate authorization; this skill only produces materials for the speaker to review.
