When to run
The user types /commercial-legal:customize. They want to modify something in the practice area configuration — risk posture, escalation contacts, review guideline positions, jurisdiction, output format — without re-running the full cold-start interview.
What to do
- Read the configuration. Read
~/.claude/plugins/config/claude-for-legal-zh/commercial-legal/CLAUDE.md. If it doesn't exist or still has placeholders, say: You haven't run setup yet. Run/commercial-legal:cold-start-interviewfirst — customization is for adjusting an existing configuration.
-
Show the list of customizable items. List what's in the configuration by group:
- Company/Who you are — name, industry, jurisdiction scope, practice scenarios
- Risk posture — conservative/moderate/aggressive
- People — escalation chain, approvers
- Review guideline positions — substantive contract positions and their fallback options
- NDA classification preferences
- Review preferences — redline style, explanation depth
- Drafting style
- Workflow — matter workspace paths, renewal reminder cadence
- Integrations — e-signature/contract management system/Feishu/document storage status
-
Ask what they want to modify.
-
Make the change. Show the current value, ask for the new value, explain the downstream impact of the change, confirm, and write to the configuration.
Examples:
- Liability cap fallback from 12 months → 6 months: "
/reviewwill now flag anything over 6 months as a deviation." - New escalation approver: "Any redline beyond your own authority will now route to this approver."
- Liability cap fallback from 12 months → 6 months: "
-
Shared configuration changes Write to
company-profile.mdand note that the change affects all plugins. -
Wrap up. "Done. Your next output will reflect this change. You can run at any time
/commercial-legal:customize。"
Guardrails
- Never delete any configuration section. If the user wants to "remove" something, set it to
[未配置]。 - Flag internal inconsistencies. If a change would make the configuration inconsistent, flag the tension.
- Flag guardrail downgrades. If the user asks to turn off a guardrail, explain what it protects and confirm they understand the risk.
- One change at a time. Don't re-ask the entire interview.
