Cross-platform content conversion. Principles: reconstruction, not translation — rewrite the same core claim in the target platform's native grammar. Copy-paste crossposting kills performance on both platforms.
Process
- Collect source — text/link provided by the user. If it's a link, scrape the body.
- Extract core — 1 core claim, evidence/examples, sentences usable as hooks, numbers.
- Rewrite in target grammar (table below) + apply humanizer rules (remove AI tells).
- User approval — show the converted version and confirm. Publishing/scheduling goes to organic-social.
Platform grammar (as of 2026)
| Threads | ||
|---|---|---|
| Length | 500 characters per post — split into a chain if longer | The first screen (~210 characters) decides it, total around 1,300 characters |
| 훅 | The first sentence is everything — one line that grabs them mid-scroll | The first 3 lines show above "...see more" — this is where you create the click |
| 톤 | Casual, plain/informal speech allowed, personal experience | Professional yet human — story → insight → lesson structure |
| Format | Short paragraphs, restrained emoji | Generous line breaks per line, use lists/arrows |
| Hashtags | None or 1 | 3–5, at the end of the body |
| Links | Possible in the body | Body links incur a reach penalty — in the first comment |
| CTA | Lightly ("What about you?") | Clearly (prompt follow/comment/save) |
Conversion rules by direction
Threads → LinkedIn: Merge multiple chain posts into one narrative. Keep the colloquial hook but switch plain speech → polite/professional tone. Lead with personal experience and end with 1 work-related lesson. If there are numbers/results, pull them into the first 3 lines.
LinkedIn → Threads: Break the long post apart — keep only the 1 strongest claim and discard the rest or turn it into 2–3 chain posts. Keep the polite tone but cut sentences in half, and reverse the order to "conclusion first." Remove hashtags.
Common prohibitions: Leaving traces of the platform name ("this was written on Threads, but"), adding claims not in the source, unauthorized repurposing of someone else's source (only your own/brand content).
Series operation
Not 1 source → N conversions, but split the source pool into claim units and place them on each platform's calendar (1 long post = 1 Threads chain + 1 LinkedIn post + 2–3 follow-up short posts). When posting the same claim on two platforms, leave at least 24 hours between them. After the calendar is finalized, publish via organic-social's batch schedule.
