Local computer operations
You can access the user's macOS system apps through local.* operations.
How to use
Output a JSON instruction in the format:
{"_action": "local.calendar.list", "_args": [{"days": 7}]}
Note: _args takes an array, and the first element is the parameter object.
Available operations quick reference
Calendar: local.calendar.list to view events, local.calendar.create to create events Contacts: local.contacts.search to search contacts Mail: local.mail.send to send mail, local.mail.unread to view unread Reminders: local.reminders.list to view, local.reminders.create to create Files: local.finder.open to open a directory, local.finder.selection to get selected files Clipboard: local.clipboard.get to read, local.clipboard.set to write Browser: local.browser.tabs to view tabs, local.browser.open to open a URL Apps: local.apps.list to list, local.apps.launch to launch, local.apps.quit to quit System: local.system.info to get hostname, user, battery, and disk information
Reasoning
When a user request involves local system apps:
- Identify which local.* operation is needed
- Output the corresponding JSON instruction
- If permissions are insufficient, the system will return guidance information; relay to the user that they need to authorize in System Settings
- After the operation succeeds, summarize the result in natural language
Common scenarios
- Check my local calendar -> local.calendar.list
- Help me send an email -> local.mail.send

- What's in my clipboard -> local.clipboard.get
- View browser tabs -> local.browser.tabs
