Features
This skill is used to generate high-quality storyboard panel image prompts, helping users create visualized storyboards for film, animation, or video projects. The prompts will include key elements such as scene description, composition, lighting, and mood, to ensure that the generated images accurately convey the visual intent of the story.
When to Call
Call this skill when the user needs the following:
- Create storyboard panel images for a film, animation, or video project
- Generate visualized descriptions of a specific scene
- Create detailed prompts for AI image generation tools (such as nano banana, seedream, etc.)
- Design the visual flow of a video or animation
How to Use
Basic Usage
Users can provide the following information to generate storyboard panel image prompts:
- Scene description: Describe in detail the scene content to be depicted
- Style requirements: Specify the art style (such as realistic, cartoon, sci-fi, etc.)
- Composition requirements: Specify the shot type (such as close-up, medium shot, wide shot, etc.)
- Lighting requirements: Specify the lighting type (such as natural light, artificial light, atmospheric light, etc.)
- Mood requirements: Specify the emotional tone of the scene (such as tense, warm, suspenseful, etc.)
Prompt Structure
The generated prompt will include the following elements:
- Subject description: The main elements and actions in the scene
- Style specification: Art style and visual texture
- Composition information: Shot type and angle
- Lighting description: Light source type and effect
- Mood and atmosphere: The emotional tone of the scene
- Detail requirements: Specific details in the scene
- Technical parameters: Technical requirements such as resolution and quality
Prompt Template
The prompt template format is as follows:
生成 NxN 分镜网格, 16:9 比例,每格分镜比例也是:16:9
[角色1名称]形象参考图1
[角色2名称]形象参考图2
[角色3名称]形象参考图3
[场景1名称]场景参考图4
[场景2名称]场景参考图5
画面严禁出现任何字幕、对白、文字、水印或对话框,分镜之间有极细1像素纯黑gap

Recommended Grid Sizes
The following grid sizes are recommended:
- 3x3 storyboard grid: Suitable for short scenes or core plot display
- 4x4 storyboard grid: Suitable for medium-length scene descriptions
- 5x5 storyboard grid: Suitable for relatively complex scene sequences
- 6x6 storyboard grid: Suitable for detailed story development and plot twists
Template Description
- NxN storyboard grid: Specify the number of rows and columns of the storyboard; 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, or 6x6 are recommended
- Aspect ratio: Clearly state the aspect ratio of the storyboard in the prompt, either 16:9 or 9:16
- Reference image mapping: Clearly reference the character and scene reference images in the prompt, in the format of "[Character Name] character reference image X", "[Scene Name] scene reference image X", to maintain visual consistency
- Image requirements: Any subtitles, dialogue, text, watermarks, or speech bubbles are strictly prohibited; there must be a very thin 1-pixel pure black gap between storyboard panels
- Environment and background information: Describe the environment and background of the scene
- Style and texture description: Specify the art style and visual texture
- Storyboard order: Describe the content of each shot in row and column order
Single-Shot Duration Reference
Single-shot duration is an important element in a storyboard. The following are single-shot duration references for different types of short dramas:
-
Vertical-screen micro short drama (1-3 minutes per episode)
- Fast-paced satisfying fiction/comeback/suspense: average 2.5-4 seconds per shot, the first 3 shots ≤1.5 seconds, reversal/conflict shots 1-2 seconds, rarely exceeding 6 seconds
- Slow-paced emotional/sweet romance/artistic: average 4-8 seconds per shot, emotional close-ups and dialogue shots can be 8-12 seconds, strictly no more than 15 seconds
- Ultra-short traffic-driven short drama: average 2-4 seconds per shot, maximum no more than 6 seconds
-
Landscape long-video platform short drama (5-15 minutes per episode)
- Fast-paced suspense/crime/satisfying fiction: average 4-6 seconds per shot
- Conventional drama/emotional/urban: average 6-12 seconds per shot
-
Special categories
- Animated short drama: average 2-4 seconds per shot, with 20%-30% more shots than live-action short dramas
- One-shot short drama: a single storyboard has only 1 core shot, corresponding to the full duration of one episode
Notes
- The more detailed the scene description provided, the higher the quality of the generated prompts
- Specific artistic references can be specified (such as films, painters, or art movements)
- The length and level of detail of the prompt can be adjusted as needed
- The generated prompts are especially suitable for AI image generation tools such as nano banana and seedream
Application scenarios
- Film pre-production: create visualized storyboards
- Animation production: design keyframes and scenes
- Video creation: plan shooting or animation sequences
- Concept art: generate creative visual concepts
- Game development: design game scenes and levels
This skill will help users quickly generate professional storyboard shot image prompts, providing clear guidance for visual creation.
