About this skill

New Case - Create a new case

Organize the original case materials into the SuitAgent standard 12-level directory structure, and generate a case information dashboard (Case Information.md), time records (Time Records.md), and a deadline management file (.yaml).

Applicable Scenarios

  1. Creating a new case file and needing to establish a standardized directory structure
  2. Existing case materials that need to be organized into a unified format
  3. Receiving a new case and needing to quickly set up the case framework
  4. Organizing historical case materials and migrating them to a standardized structure

Trigger Methods

Natural Language Trigger

  • "Organize this case's materials: /path/to/case-folder"
  • "Help me establish the case structure: the case is at /path/to/case"
  • "Create a new case"
  • "New case"

Parameterized Trigger

Supports the following parameters (passed via natural language or in a structured way):

Parameter Required Description Example
--client-name No Client name/company name
--case-type No Case type
--case-cause No Cause of action
--opposite-party No Opposing party
--input-dir No Case materials directory /path/to/materials

Usage Examples:

"创建新案件,案件编号 [2025]京0105民初1234号,委托人北京科技有限公司,案由合同纠纷,对方当事人上海某某公司"

Workflow

Step 1: Analyze Input Materials

  1. Scan the case folderand list all files
  2. Identify material types:
    • Legal service plans (.md/.docx)
    • Chat records/communication records
    • Evidence materials (images, PDFs)
    • Client engagement materials
    • Identity verification documents
    • Other documents
  3. Extract key information:
    • Party information (plaintiff, defendant)
    • Case type/cause of action
    • Amount in dispute (if any)
    • Opposing party information

Step 2: Establish the Standard Directory Structure

Create the 12-level directory based on the skill's built-in template.

For the detailed directory structure specification, see references/case-structure.md For each directory's subdirectory structure, associated Agent, and output file examples, see references/directory-guide.md

Step 3: Classify and Organize Materials

For the detailed material classification mapping, see references/case-structure.md

Step 4: Generate the Case Information Dashboard

Based on the template references/case-info-template.md , generate Case Information.md, including:

  1. Basic case information

    • Case name: format "Plaintiff + et al. + v. + Defendant + et al. + Cause of action"
    • Case number: format "YYMMNN + party + cause of action"
    • Cause of action, case type, current stage
  2. Party information

    • Plaintiff: name, type, ID number, address
    • Defendant: name, type, ID number, legal representative
  3. Focus of dispute(extracted from the legal service plan)

    • Main points of dispute
    • Secondary points of dispute
  4. Timeline

    • Law firm case filing date
    • Estimated time nodes
  5. Fee tracking

    • Estimated attorney fees and litigation costs
  6. Task list

    • Break down tasks according to the 4-stage legal service plan
  7. List of important near-term tasks(including today's to-dos and tomorrow's to-dos)

  8. Statutory time limit management(table of standard time limits such as 15 days for responding to a lawsuit, 30 days for presenting evidence, 15 days for appeal, etc. + time limit risk warnings)

  9. Risk alerts and points for attention(current risks + strategic recommendations)

  10. Update history(standard table format)

Step 5: Generate work hour records and time limit management

For detailed structure, see references/timesheet-template.md Includes: this month's work hour statistics table, 12-directory file list, case progress summary, cumulative work hour statistics, important notes and remarks

For detailed paragraph structure, see references/yaml-schema.md Mark 🔧 初始化 paragraphs are filled during case-setup; mark ⏳ 后续 paragraphs are left blank for subsequent Agents to fill

Optional Step 6: Generate legal service plan

If the materials include preliminary communication records or customer requirement descriptions, you may generate a legal service plan based on references/service-proposal-template.md to the 01 - 🤝 委托材料/ directory.

Key rules

Case number rules

Format:{年}{月}{序号} {原告简称} 与 {被告简称} {案由}

Example:

Case name rules

Format:{

Example:

File naming rules

  • Time limit management:[案件编号].yaml
  • Other files use Chinese descriptions, date prefix format:YYMMDD

Time requirements

Use the system's current time (obtained via date "+%Y-%m-%d" ), ensuring:

  • Document creation time is the current date
  • Timeline logic is correct (past → present → future)
  • Remaining days are calculated accurately

Output verification

After completing case organization, confirm:

  • The 12-level directory structure has been created
  • All materials have been classified and moved to the corresponding directories
  • Case information.md has been generated, containing complete basic information
  • Work hour records.md has been created
  • The .yaml time limit management file has been created
  • File naming complies with the standards
  • Time logic is correct

Prohibitions

  • It is prohibited to record information about the project's own SuitAgent system in the case file
  • It is prohibited to create additional explanatory documents or README files
  • It is prohibited to omit any existing materials
  • It is prohibited to fabricate case information
