About this skill

Content Tone Adjuster

Description

This skill is designed to help the Agent perform in-depth style and tone adjustments on existing text or documents.

Currently, it integrates three commonly used text adjustment directions:

  1. Remove AI Artifacts: Focuses on eliminating formulaic expressions, excessive flattery, long and convoluted sentences, and a rigid machine feel in AI-generated text, making the writing more like prose or a blog naturally written by a human.
  2. Grounded Writing: Focuses on removing workplace "big words", "jargon", and grand narratives, transforming exaggerated rhetoric into low-key, pragmatic, and plain operational language, suitable for work reports or OKRs.
  3. Talk Normal: Focuses on extreme conciseness, direct assertions, no beating around the bush, and rejecting contrastive sentence patterns and summary clichés, suitable for quick Q&A, technical answers, or core viewpoint output.

Workflow

When the user activates or uses this skill, strictly follow these steps:

Step 1: Ask about the adjustment intention

Directly ask the user: "Which type of adjustment would you like to perform? Please choose or directly enter your requirement:\n1. Remove AI Artifacts (eliminate AI machine feel and rigid expressions)\n2. Grounded Writing (remove workplace big words and grand narratives)\n3. Talk Normal (speak directly and assertively, without nonsense or formulaic preamble)"

Note: You must wait for the user's reply here. Before the user makes a choice, do not perform any text processing.

Step 2: Load the corresponding system prompt

According to the user's choice, use the file reading tool to load the corresponding rule prompt:

  • If the user chooses "1" or "Remove AI Artifacts", please read the file:skills/content-tone-adjuster/remove-ai-artifacts/prompt.md
  • If the user chooses "2" or "Grounded Writing", please read the file:skills/content-tone-adjuster/grounded-writer/prompt.md
  • If the user chooses "3" or "Talk Normal", please read the file:skills/content-tone-adjuster/talk-normal/prompt.md

Step 3: Perform the adjustment

After reading the corresponding prompt, follow the "execution process" and "basic suggestions/rewriting principles" defined within that prompt, and work with the user to complete the subsequent rewriting work. Note: when rewriting, use editing tools, do not rewrite the entire text extensively unless the user requests it.
