About this skill

Workspace Netdrive Skill

This skill helps you detect and use netdrives mounted within the workspace (TOS storage bucket mounts).

When to Use

Use this skill when the user requests the following operations:

  • "Check whether there are any mounted netdrives"
  • "Save this file to the netdrive/TOS"
  • "Store the output to the cloud storage bucket mount"
  • "List the available storage buckets"

Detection Logic

Netdrives are usually mounted as /root/.openclaw/workspace/ subdirectories. The detection script uses df and grep to check the mount points under that directory.

Instructions

1. Detect Available Netdrives

Run this script to list all mounted netdrive paths and bucket names:

scripts/detect_mounts.sh

Example output:

Detected network drives (Buckets):
Bucket: my-bucket (Path: /root/.openclaw/workspace/my-bucket)
Bucket: reports-bucket (Path: /root/.openclaw/workspace/reports-bucket)

If no netdrive is found, the output will be:No network drives mounted in workspace.

Note: If no netdrive is detected, youmustprompt the user to configure a netdrive (configure TOS storage bucket information) in the arkClaw interface menu barbefore continuing.

2. Save Files to the Netdrive

Once a valid mount path is identified (for example /root/.openclaw/workspace/my-bucket), you can save files directly to that path.

Copy a file:

cp source_file.txt /root/.openclaw/workspace/my-bucket/folder/

Write directly to the netdrive:

echo "内容" > /root/.openclaw/workspace/my-bucket/output.txt

3. Feedback

When giving the user feedback about the file storage location,do notuse the internal file system path (for example /root/.openclaw/workspace/...). Instead, report the Bucket Name and the path relative to the bucket。

Feedback example:

"The file has been saved successfully. Bucket name: my-bucket Path: folder/source_file.txt"

This format makes it convenient for users to access these files in external systems.
