Purpose

• Accurately locate and download from SkillHub by nameprivate or enterprise-exclusivethe latest version zip package of the skill.
• Auto-extract by default: After download, it will automatically extract to a directory named after the skill name, and flatten the top-level directory structure.
• After download and extraction are complete, output the directory path.

When to invoke

• Triggered when the user's request involves downloadingprivate skillsorenterprise-exclusive skills. Common semantics include:
  1. Explicitly request to download from byted-skillhub-download .
  2. Mention "download enterprise-exclusive skill", "download internal skill", or "download private skill".
  3. Need to pull a specific private resource package stored in the company/enterprise SkillHub space.
• Note: For ordinary public skills (Public Skills), please prioritize using other public download capabilities.

Environment description (Agent must read)

• No need to ask the user for environment variables: The following variables are automatically injected in the current environment:
  • ARK_SKILL_API_BASE: SkillHub API service address
  • ARK_SKILL_API_KEY: Enterprise SkillHub access key
  • SKILLHUB_SKILL_SPACE_ID: Enterprise-exclusive skill space ID
• It is strictly forbidden to ask the user for parameter values: When the Agent triggers this skill, it should directly read these variables from the environment and execute the script, and must not interrupt the process to confirm this information with the user.

Download steps

1. Execute the script (path is relative to the directory where this SKILL.md is located)
   • python ./scripts/download_from_skillhub.py --name "<精确名称>" --output /root/.openclaw/workspace/skills/
   • By default, the skill will be extracted to the /root/.openclaw/workspace/skills/<skill_name>/ directory
   • If you only want to download the zip package without extracting, please add the --no-extract parameter
2. Observe the output
   • On success, the last line will print the extracted directory path (or zip file path)

Installation prompt

• This skill only downloads and extracts; it is not responsible for the subsequent installation logic.

Example

• Download the skill named "awesome-tool" to the default directory
  • python ./scripts/download_from_skillhub.py --name "awesome-tool" --output /root/.openclaw/workspace/skills/

Troubleshooting

• If it indicates a missing environment variable, please confirm you are running in the environment or contact the administrator
• Skill not found: confirm the name is an exact match, or check whether SkillSpaceId is correct
• Network or authentication error: check network connectivity and whether the API Key is valid
