  • Before submitting in the system, reconfirm that the author information is complete and the manuscript is the latest version.
  • Be sure to select the "research type" accurately (empirical / theoretical / review / commentary).
  • Specific rules such as recommended / avoided reviewers and single-upload sizeare subject to the system page at the time of submission(unofficial numbers are not seen officially; do not copy them).

Anti-patterns

  • Staying up all night to revise and not doing a double-blind check; author information remains in the main text or file properties
  • References are still in EndNote's default APA / numbered citation format and have not been converted toauthor-date system
  • Figure and table numbering is discontinuous / Figure 3 is referred to as "Figure 4" in the main text
  • Treating folk numbers from previous years (word count, plagiarism check %, reference limit) asofficial hard constraintsand hardcoding them—the current official website's current-term version should prevail
  • Forgetting to delete the acknowledgments from the working paper version when submitting
