Purpose
This is a routing skill. It does not replace individual journal skills; instead, it first assesses the manuscript'sdiscipline, level of the question, methodological form, and target readership, then routes to the corresponding journal skill.
Resources to load when needed
- When routing is unclear or the user only says "economics/management or social sciences Chinese journal", first read

First ask four things
- Level of the question: a national/institutional/theoretical proposition, or the behavior of a certain industry, policy, or firm?
- Methodological form: theoretical, quasi-experimental, structural model, measurement and forecasting, mathematical optimization, survey/case study, policy commentary?
- Disciplinary readership: economics, finance, public finance and taxation, international economics, agriculture, rural areas and farmers, management science, business administration, public administration, accounting and auditing, social policy?
- Submission goal: aiming for a top journal, or pursuing topic-journal fit and review efficiency?

Decision Rules
- Only correlation, no theoretical mechanism: first fill in the problem awareness, do not rush to choose a top journal.
- There is a clean policy shock but the topic leans toward industry or firms: prioritize China Industrial Economics, not automatically submit to Economic Research Journal.
- Financial variables are only control variables: do not submit to Journal of Financial Research; only when the financial channel is the core mechanism is it a good fit.
- Questionnaire/SEM/case theoretical construction: prioritize management journals, do not use the tone of economic policy evaluation.
- Mathematical models/algorithms are the contribution: prioritize management science category; regression coefficients are not the core output of Journal of Management Sciences in China.
- Before submission, you must enter the "official verification checklist" of the individual journal skill; do not submit based on old templates.
