Chinese Writing Standards
Chinese technical documentation should prioritize clarity, accuracy, restraint, and consistency. When modifying an article, first preserve the original meaning, then optimize the structure and expression.
Standards for Fixing Common Writing Issues
In repair and proofreading mode, please follow these principles:
Tone
- Keep the tone consistent throughout the text (technical rationality / sharing narrative / instructional explanation)
- Avoid mixing colloquial and formal written language in the same article
- Avoid emotional or exaggerated expressions (unless it is a sharing-type article)
Typos and Grammatical Errors
- Correct obvious typos
- Adjust sentences with awkward word order
- Delete repeated or redundant expressions
Capitalization and Formatting
- Use consistent capitalization for English abbreviations (e.g., API, HTTP, i18n)
- Keep appropriate spaces between Chinese and English
- Keep number and unit formats consistent
Terminology consistency
- Use only one expression for the same concept
- When it first appears, the full name may be given; afterward, use the abbreviation
