Paper Summarization Skill

This skill is used to quickly extract and summarize the core content of academic papers, including research background, methodology, main findings, and conclusions.

Input Requirements

The following input methods are supported:

1. PDF file: directly upload a PDF file or provide a local path
2. URL link: provide the paper's webpage or a direct PDF link
3. Text content: directly paste the paper text (suitable for unencrypted papers)

Workflow

Step 1: Paper Parsing

Use extract_pdfs_full_content or extract_pdfs_key_info to extract the paper content:

• For complete analysis: use extract_pdfs_full_content to extract all content
• For quick summary: use extract_pdfs_key_info to extract key information

Step 2: Content Analysis and Structuring

Based on the extracted content, analyze the following dimensions:

1. Basic Information

   • Paper Title
   • Author Information
   • Publication Time/Journal
   • Research Field

2. Research Background

   • Definition of the Research Problem
   • Limitations of Existing Research
   • Research Motivation and Significance

3. Research Methods

   • Research methods/technical approach adopted
   • Data sources and experimental design
   • Analytical framework

4. Main Findings

   • Core research results
   • Key data and statistical results
   • Important conclusions

5. Research Contributions

   • Theoretical contributions
   • Practical significance
   • Innovation points

6. Limitations and Outlook

   • Limitations of the research
   • Future research directions

Output Format

Generate a structured paper summary report, including the following sections:

Abstract Overview (about 200 words)

Summarize the core value of the paper in one sentence, with 3-5 keywords.

Detailed Content

Expand the detailed analysis according to the above six dimensions.

Key Points Extraction

List the 3-5 most important takeaways.

Applicable Scenarios

Explain which types of readers the paper is suitable for, and which scenarios it can be applied to.
