A cross-platform rental search tool covering China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Western Europe (Spain/Italy/Portugal). It queries major rental platforms uniformly through 5 CLIs and returns structured JSON.
Prerequisites
The kimi-webbridge daemon must be running:

Price/number-of-rooms filtering is not yet implemented (idealista uses path-based filtering, which needs to be encoded separately per country). If filtering is needed, first fetch everything and then filter on the caller side.

House-hunting considerations
After finding listings, help the user analyze and be reminded from the following angles:
Commute
- Ask clearly where the user works/goes to school, and estimate the commute time
- A direct subway ride of ≤30min is the comfort zone; if it exceeds 45min or requires more than 2 transfers, remind the user to weigh the trade-offs
- In the United States, look at driving commutes and watch out for rush-hour traffic; in the United Kingdom/Europe, look at public transportation
Value for money
- Search several listings in the same area to compare and get a feel for the local rent level
- China: prices on 58 and Anjuke may differ; the actual price shall prevail
- United States: prices listed on apartments.com are usually a range; the actual move-in price is in the unit pricing in the details
- Be wary of listings priced noticeably below the average for the same area—they may be fake listings
Property condition
- Give priority to listings with photos on the detail page; pay attention to how new the renovation is, natural light, and furniture provision
- China: pay attention to orientation (south-facing preferred), floor (avoid the first floor and top floor), and whether there is a private bathroom
- United Kingdom: pay attention to the EPC energy efficiency rating, whether council tax is included, and bills included
- United States: pay attention to the sqft area, whether utilities are included, and parking spaces
Safety and environment
- China: gated communities > open ones, with property management > without, self-contained units > mixed shared housing
- You can use

- United Kingdom: pay attention to the council area; safety varies greatly from area to area
Agents and contracts
- China: direct rental from the landlord > formal agency > sublessor; be wary of contradictory information
- Pay attention to the deposit/payment method: one month's deposit and one month's rent is the most flexible; with two months' deposit and three months' rent paid upfront / six months paid upfront, consider the risk
- United Kingdom: pay attention to agency fees and the deposit protection scheme
- United States: pay attention to the application fee, security deposit, and lease break penalty
- Western Europe: note that fianza (deposit) is usually 1-2 months
Contract flexibility
- Length of the initial lease term, whether early termination is possible, and how much the penalty is
- For short-term rental needs (<6 months), prioritize listings that explicitly support short-term rentals
- International students should check whether the contract term matches their visa/semester
Information authenticity
- Price too low, photos overly retouched, reposted across multiple platforms → may be a bait fake listing
- Contact information only leaves WeChat and no phone number → may be a sublessor
- Listed for a long time and still not rented out → there may be hidden problems; it is worth asking why

Tips
- Output must include links: When compiling a housing list, each item must include the original URL (the url field in search results), so users can directly open it to view and make contact
- Search two platforms at once for Chinese cities: 58 and Anjuke listings do not fully overlap; searching both shows more options
- Search first, then view details: After search returns the list, pick the interesting ones and then use detail, to avoid wasting requests
- xiaohongshu is a good helper: Searching "{city} rental pitfalls" can provide real tenant feedback to help with judgment
- Pay attention to currency units: China = RMB, United States = USD, United Kingdom = GBP, Western Europe = EUR
- Rental CLIs do not require login: The 5 rental CLIs can be used directly, no account needed
- WebBridge must be running: All CLIs depend on the kimi-webbridge daemon (port 10086)
