MyCC Initialization Guide

This is an interactive configuration wizard that helps the user complete MyCC's initialization setup.

Trigger Conditions

  • User input /setup
  • User says "help me configure", "initialize"
  • Automatically triggered on first use: when detected that {{YOUR_NAME}} has not been replaced, proactively ask whether guidance is needed

Configuration Progress Checklist

Check off each completed step ✅, and support resuming after interruption. This checklist will be updated to track progress.

  • 1. Check prerequisites
  • 2. Copy configuration files
  • 3. Collect user information
  • 4. Replace template variables
  • 5. Verify configuration takes effect
  • 6. Complete initialization

Execution Steps

Step 1: Check Prerequisites

Check Items：

  1. Whether Claude Code is installed (can run claude --version）
  2. Whether the current directory is the mycc project root directory (exists CLAUDE.md）

Execution Method：

If it fails：

After Completion: update the checklist, mark step 1 as ✅

Step 2: Copy Configuration Files

Files to Copy：

0-System/status.md.example 0-System/status.md Short-term memory template
0-System/context.md.example 0-System/context.md Mid-term memory template

Execution Method：

cp .claude/settings.local.json.example .claude/settings.local.json
cp 0-System/status.md.example 0-System/status.md
cp 0-System/context.md.example 0-System/context.md

Checkpoint: confirm that all three files exist

After Completion: update the checklist, mark step 2 as ✅

Step 3: Collect User Information

To Collect：

  • The user's name (used to replace {{YOUR_NAME}}）

Interaction Method：

Ask the user: "What would you like me to call you? (This name will appear in CLAUDE.md)"

Storage: remember the user's answer for use in the next replacement step

After Completion: update the checklist, mark step 3 as ✅

Step 4: Replace Template Variables

Files to Replace：

  • CLAUDE.md: replace all {{YOUR_NAME}} with the user's name

Execution Method：

sed -i '' 's/{{YOUR_NAME}}/用户名字/g' CLAUDE.md

Checkpoint: confirm that CLAUDE.md no longer contains {{YOUR_NAME}}

After Completion: update the checklist, mark step 4 as ✅

Step 5: Verify Configuration Takes Effect

Verification Items：

  1. .claude/settings.local.json exists and has the correct format
  2. 0-System/status.md exists
  3. CLAUDE.md the name in has been replaced

Execution Method：

If There Is a Problem: tell the user where the error is and provide repair suggestions

After Completion: update the checklist, mark step 5 as ✅

Step 6: Complete Initialization

Output Completion Message：

🎉 MyCC 初始化完成！

已完成：
✅ 配置文件已复制
✅ 名字已设置为「{用户名字}」
✅ Hooks 已配置

接下来你可以：
1. 重启 Claude Code（让 Hooks 生效）
2. 开始使用！试试说"今天有什么安排"

提示：
- 编辑 `0-System/status.md` 记录你的每日状态
- 编辑 `0-System/about-me/` 让我更了解你
- 输入 `/dashboard` 查看所有可用能力

Update Checklist: mark step 6 as ✅, all items completed

Interruption and Resumption

If the user leaves midway:

  1. The progress checklist will retain the current state
  2. On the next trigger of /setup , check the checklist and continue from the unfinished steps
  3. Tell the user: "Last time configuration reached step X, do you want to continue?"

Common Issue Handling

Q: Hooks not taking effect

A:

  1. Confirm that .claude/settings.local.json exists
  2. Restart Claude Code
  3. Check whether the file path is correct

Q: Want to reconfigure

A:

  1. Delete .claude/settings.local.json
  2. Run again /setup

Q: Want to change the name

A: Directly edit CLAUDE.md, change the name to what you want
