A single skill for all operations with MXL layouts and templates. Choose the required mode:
| Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
compile |
Create MXL from a JSON DSL definition |
decompile |
Get JSON DSL from an existing MXL |
template-add |
Add a layout to an object (data processor, catalog, document) |
template-remove |
Remove a layout from an object |
Mode: compile — creating MXL from JSON
Accepts a compact JSON layout definition and generates a valid Template.xml for a 1C spreadsheet document.
Usage
/mxl-expert compile <JsonPath> <OutputPath>
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| JsonPath | yes | Path to the JSON layout definition |
| OutputPath | yes | Path for generating Template.xml |
Command
powershell.exe -NoProfile -File .claude/skills/mxl-expert/scripts/mxl-compile.ps1 -JsonPath "<JsonPath>" -OutputPath "<OutputPath>"
Claude describes what is needed (areas, parameters, styles), the script ensures correctness of the XML (palettes, indices, merges, namespace).
Mode: decompile — getting JSON from MXL
Accepts Template.xml and generates a compact JSON DSL definition. The reverse operation of compile.
Usage
/mxl-expert decompile <TemplatePath> [OutputPath]
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| TemplatePath | yes | Path to Template.xml |

Mode: template-add — adding a layout to an object
Creates a layout of the specified type and registers it in the object's root XML.
