Takes a 1C spreadsheet document Template.xml and generates a compact JSON definition (DSL). The inverse operation of /mxl-compile.
Usage
/mxl-decompile <TemplatePath> [OutputPath]
Parameters
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| TemplatePath | yes | Path to Template.xml |
| OutputPath | no | Path for JSON (if not specified — stdout) |
Command
powershell.exe -NoProfile -File .claude/skills/mxl-decompile/scripts/mxl-decompile.ps1 -TemplatePath "<путь>/Template.xml" [-OutputPath "<путь>.json"]
Workflow
Decompiling an existing template for analysis or refinement:
- Claude invokes
/mxl-decompileto obtain JSON from Template.xml - Claude analyzes or modifies the JSON (adds areas, changes styles)
- Claude invokes
/mxl-compileto generate a new Template.xml - Claude invokes
/mxl-validatefor validation
DSL JSON schema
Full format specification: docs/mxl-dsl-spec.md (read via the Read tool).
Name generation
The script automatically generates meaningful names:
- Fonts:
default, bold, header, small, italic— or descriptive names based on properties - Styles:
bordered,bordered-center,bold-right,border-topetc. — based on a combination of properties
Detection of rowStyle
If a row contains empty cells (without parameters/text) and all of them have the same format — this format is recognized as rowStyle, and the empty cells are excluded from the output.
