Generate character design sheets

Use the Gemini 3 Pro Image API to create character design sheets to ensure visual consistency throughout the video.

Prompt Best Practices

Before writing character descriptions and generating prompts, please first read the docs/nano-banana.md section starting at line 365 of Prompting guide and strategies to learn the best practices for Gemini image generation.

Core Principles：

"Describe the scene, don't just list keywords. A narrative, descriptive paragraph will almost always produce a better, more coherent image than a list of disconnected words."

Character Description Writing Guide

When writing character description , please follownarrative-style writing：

✅ Recommended:

"A woman in her early twenties, slender, with a pair of clear almond-shaped eyes on an oval face, and a hint of melancholy when her willow-leaf eyebrows slightly frown. She wears a pale cyan embroidered silk skirt, with a matching-color ribbon tied at the waist, appearing dignified yet lively."

❌ Avoid:

"20 years old, female, almond-shaped eyes, willow-leaf eyebrows, cyan skirt"

Key Points:

• Describe appearance, clothing, and temperament in coherent paragraphs
• Include age, physique, facial features, and clothing details
• May add hints of the character's temperament or emotions

Workflow

1. Load the project script

   • If no project name is specified, ask the user
   • From projects/{项目名}/scripts/ load the script JSON
   • List the characters that do not have a character_sheet path

2. Generate character designs

   • For each character:
     • Build a detailed prompt based on the description
     • Run .claude/skills/generate-characters/scripts/generate_character.py
     • Save to projects/{项目名}/characters/

3. Review checkpoint

   • Show each generated character image
   • Ask the user whether to approve or regenerate
   • Allow adjustment of the description

4. Update the script

   • Update the character_sheet path in the script JSON
   • Save the updated script
