About this skill

gm-publish

Input: row=<id>; session=<SESSION_ID>. Output: .gm/receipts/<row>/06-publish.md.

  1. Pull main before the commit and again before the push, so a remote that moved is merged first. On conflicted: true, resolve this turn (gm collision rules).
  2. Before the commit, check the message: subject at most 50 characters, body lines at most 72. The commit verb refuses other messages. Before the commit, git_status must show no staged path outside the paths listed in 04-edit.md. A foreign staged path (another lane's edit or index entry) blocks the commit: unstage it, file it with prd-add, and never commit it. Commit only the paths listed in 04-edit.md, with git_finalize {message, paths}. Push with git_push to the full sha.
  3. The executor stops here: return STATUS: handoff <sha> to the orchestrator.
  4. The CI read is a separate lane the orchestrator spawns for that sha (<parent>-c<k>). It makes one gm_codemode dispatch: git_show {rev:sha}, ci-status {sha} for per-job conclusions, and ci-log {sha, max_lines:40} for the log text, with the log hashed by crypto.subtle.digest('SHA-256') to log_sha256 after dropping the reply's dispatch_id: line, which changes per call. The receipt 06-publish.md records log_sha256 beside the sha. Pending or failing is not success. Return STATUS: ci-green <sha> when every job is green, or STATUS: ci-red <sha> <job> with the failing job's name and log line.
  5. On ci-red, the orchestrator spawns a fresh executor for the row with that sha and job as input; it never loads gm-eliminate inline here. Only the orchestrator calls prd-resolve, and only when a verifier and a CI lane both report green for the same sha.

Finish the work

  • Finishing the requested work is the goal of every run of this skill. A run that stops with work left undone is incomplete.
  • When an issue blocks a step (a failing check, a fault in a tool or service, a missing input, a network or environment fault), fix it in the same run: retry on a bounded or resumable route, use an alternate route to the same result, repair the fault where it originates, then continue the remaining work.
  • Stop only when the requested work is complete, or when a step is still blocked after every route has been tried. Then report the blocked step, the routes tried, and the evidence for each.
